Game won't let me play bonus chapter. It just loops back to the start of the main game
They must have fixed the issue others have reported, I was able to play and complete the bonus game with no issues at all (Windows 10). Not the best game in the MCF series but not the worst. Held my interest and I got it at a Steam sale.
I just finished the game, and after exiting the credits I was brought back to start the game again. No Bonus Chapter has become available, which is supposed to happen after beating the main game. Better not buy this game yet until this has been fixed if you want the full experience. :/
Love the game but it keeps crashing in the cave when I try to flip the power switch. Please fix this y'all.
I've been playing Mystery Case Files games since I was a kid, and to be honest, this was one of the best ones so far. The quality of these games and the way they turn off my brain entirely for puzzles that should be simple never ceases to amaze me.
It's a point and click puzzle game mixed with a few hidden object segments. It is voiced. The story isn't the best, feels pretty shallow. The game is short. It consists of 4 type of difficulties casual/advanced/hardcore/custom. The hardcore difficulty isnt crazy hard because it still allows the use of hints and gives you an option to skip puzzles (the option to do that recharges slowly but It's there) For the price tag It's rly not worth it even at 50% off. Spend your money and time on something better.
Game is very short. Graphics are OK. Sound and voice overs are well done. Puzzles are basic and easy May be a good game for beginners. Game story line was silly and just badly done.
The story was not that interesting and while some of the puzzles were fun there were a lot of ones that were either really simple or did not make much sense and you had to just guess at the solution. I like many of the hidden object games in this collection but this is not one of them.
Game is bugged and won't give you the bonus chapter upon completion... Which means you cannot collect all the collectibles.... Kinda a serious bug, hope the devs fix it. Then it will get a changed review. Update.. You can now access the bonus story when you beat the game. So recommended
Except for bug in MS Windows Steam, I am recommending it. I play it on Ubuntu Steam, so I do not experience the crippling MS Windows Steam coredump.
