Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 24 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

A fun, in a way classical murder mystery VN with many investigations for the player to solve! The premise is intriguing (albeit a bit funny); the maid-protagonist spontaneously becomes an improvised detective who needs to rescue her pathetic master from daily murder attempts. The riddles and cases are enthralling and pretty clever, without crossing the line to frustration-inducing. Overall, I found the plot well-paced and engaging all along! The setting has a fancy gothic aesthetic, maintained by lovely art and immersive soundtrack. To be honest, I wish that the romance and insight on the side characters were more fleshed out in the endings, however since this story mainly focuses on the actual process of mystery-solving, rather than characters, I perceive this as an intended choice, which actually works well. Though I would've loved to receive more information on some key details of the main reveal.. Altogether, it's a sweet and entertaining experience that does a great job at involving the player!
It is not a very good game, but not a very bad game either. I would give this game a 3.5/5 star as it is not a very long game However, please note that this is not really a dating sim game that you are looking for, it is a full on "simple-detective" visual novel, and have a little ending with either one of the two characters at the ending there, but it is only a merely short 1 min or lesser depending on your reading speed. I got to admit that the art is very great, and the music is good too. However, the story line is not really that fascinating compared to most other visual novel that I read. Each chapter is about less than an hour, but the Final Chapter is less than 30 minutes, with the ending with one of the two characters is less than a min. So with 5 chapters + 2 ending, the total playtime for this game is about 4 hours and 30 mins at most. [P.S My total playtime is not accurate as shown on steam as I sometimes will daydream when I read halfway or reply texts or when off to do some chores while leaving my game running] My most favourite character, is the chef, Jack or to say the
the real "Irving"
(This is rather kinda of a huge spoiler so don't click it) Second will be Ewen. Least favourite character is Leila, and not because
the real "Irving" loves her and is her fiance
but she is really bratty, rude, and arrogant. Recommend to get this on sale.

Gothic Murder: Adventure That Changes Destiny weaves together a story of mystery, intrigue, and the world of the paranormal. You play as Ellie, a new housemaid and orphan in 20th-century England. Through the use of puzzles that require players to gather and put together arguments based on evidence, and a story that will keep players intrigued, Gothic Murder is a game worth playing albeit with a few notes. The story of the game is rather short but does get straight to the point instead of supplying too much filler around interactions that do nothing to further the plot. Each day's events are framed around a dream that Ellie has the night before indicating that the lord will die. I found toward the end many of the plot points to be a bit more cliche which created more of a humorous playthrough than something more serious. Despite this I didn't find the game's story to be lacking in depth. If what you are looking for is something with a unique plot, this isn't going to provide you with that. The art of the game is incredibly solid and presents an air of polish to it. Taking into consideration the time period the characters and their roles make sense. The cast of characters has a decent mix of both genders, with the males dominating positions of power. The mystic does present as the only poc which could be viewed as a problem. Spiritualism as a movement held many key figures that were generally white. Throughout the game there are various splash screens that are beautifully rendered with the ability to revisit through a gallery option. The puzzles present in the game remind me of my incredibly vague understanding of how the Ace Attorney's presentation of evidence sections work. This however could be inaccurate as I have not played those games. Puzzles in the game consist of investigating rooms to gather evidence. In this stage the player isn't able to create a game over screen, however in the evidence presentation sections there are possibilities to create a game over. Many of these "questioning" sections required a bit of thinking to get past. The majority of them were pretty simple but a few of them required a bit more critical thinking to complete. The majority of achievements you will gain in your first playthrough, but will require two or three playthroughs to get all of them. Most players will end with the true ending and get the other end in a subsequent playthrough. The ending achievements add's a single cg at the end of the game and a little extra dialogue, but the bulk of the game is all the same. Gothic Murder: Adventure That Changes Destiny isn't a game that brings new things to the table, but does present players with a solid story that can be a bit cliche at times. If any of the caveats presented don't detract from the game I would give the game a decent shot. It's a story that can be finished in a few short play sessions or one longer one.
more a crime investigation game than a dating sim but man it was fun!

I really enjoyed this game. Playtime is about 3 hours long but it's an interesting mystery game with pretty unpredictable twists and turns, it might look otome from first view but that's not the focus at all. I'm really looking forward to seeing more of orange's games in the west!!!
(Confirmed. NOT an Otome game. At least not in the aspect of you chasing this one guy or the other. There *is* a tiny bit of "sweet moments" amount... Depending on the choices you make... But it's mostly all about the mystery. If you survive, depending on route, you will get a CG for either E or Ir... But there is never any romance (that you might expect)/kissing, so ensure you are 99.9% here for the mystery. Yes.) I may have wanted this game for the "Otome" tag... But the mystery was where it was at. I used to read mysteries a lot as a kid/teen. Then I grew up and started to see all the plot holes and issues that came with those books. I should've just read something different... Like this. And I am glad I did. It made me remember why I enjoyed these in the first place. And no, this mystery isn't so complicated... That you need to be a genius to solve it. You *will* know if you fail however. XD It's also fun how they presented "questioning" rounds as "Boss Battles". Lol. Even if you can figure out one or two plot twists, there are still plenty to go around. It gets a bit nutty. Overall: A rather worthy/good experience/read for me.
The detective game in a gothic and feudal theme. You will have to prevent the earl from being killed, he died so many times XDD The graphic is very charming with the nice character design. I also love the ost, it's fit perfectly with the theme and the story. However, on some screens, I think it would be better if they added CG. Some CGs are very repeated, I don't understand why they add the CGs there but not when it's needed.
