all in all, a great HOG but near the end it relied a lot on shapes/relics/objects that fit into holes instead of figuring out how to open things or get into places. Great variety in puzzles.

Dieses Spiel wurde an einem langen Abend nach Abschluss eines Exit Games in 3 Stunden und 6 Minuten durchgespielt. Es bereitete uns durchaus Freude. 13 Euro für 3 Stunden Knobeln mit Schnaps fand ich i.O. Allerdings waren einige der Rätsel auch einigermaßen frustrierend. Für schlauere Köpfe ist das sicherlich gar kein Problem. müsst ihr wissen.

It is a nice game. I really like the concept of her carrying her fathers skull with her and he appears as a helpful ghost mentor. Altough the overall playing time is really short, even when you include the bonus chapter. I recommend getting it during a sale. And in my opinion it is still a bit pricy considering the playing time.

I'm a huge fan of the Grim Tales series but this game, and the one before, is where I feel some of the writing really starts to fall apart for the over all story. That and Richard's lines are... strange. He's always had an off sense of humor but some jokes felt more forced. So why am I recommending it? Well, the minigames were pretty fun. Rarely did I feel I needed to just wait for the skip button, outside of a slider puzzle or two. For the over all story, it's very weak and extremely confusing. The bonus chapter just raised so many questions. Also, the translation really suffers in places like this. (I needed to find a 'snorkel' when really it wanted a smoking pipe.) I AM happy to have Richard's main voice actor back. He really does seem to love his role and it comes through very well. I know most don't play Hidden Object Games for a deep story but the over arching story for the Grim Tales series has always fascinated me and I've been enjoying going through in order piecing things together. This one just made me more confused than normal.
