About
Few are chosen. Fewer succeed.
You stumble upon a battered old book and find yourself transported to the island of Myst. As you explore the surreal landscape, you quickly learn that something has gone wrong.
Terribly wrong.
An ancient betrayal must be unveiled. Secret books concealed on the island of Myst lead the way to incredible worlds born of a master storyteller’s imagination. Yet one by one, they’re being destroyed through the treachery of his sons.
But which one?
Only your wits and imagination will serve to untangle the web of lies and deceit that shrouds the worlds of Myst.

this game is a blast for anyone who likes a good puzzle however it is time consuming and really requires you to think and use your brain and also you have to often use a 10000000000000000000000000000 IQ brain at times so its not for everyone but I like it:) I highly recommend this:)
navigation is ass
Amazing game, doable without looking at guides or soluces. Don't forget to take the white page with you at the end...
If I had to describe MYST with one word and its derivatives , then it would be the most gamey game I have ever gamed. Whilst it lacks the graphical finesse of its sequel Riven , it still certainly is beautiful its own wormy-polygon way. And unlike riven , I don`t have to look up five guides just to guess where the ♥♥♥♥ the damn lever is. I swear people joke about this game having a problem with random ass levers opening something in somewhere but its in no way as bad as it is in Riven , my dudes . The puzzles in this game are very elegant . It really makes you feel like your on a island , if you will . And thanks to modern technology you can even skip the submarine cutscenes! So yeah play this if you like games like at all . Its a must play ! And for the love of MYST , do not play the remakes , you`re missing out on the charm the original has by a LOT. WHERE ELSE ARE YOU GONNA GET THOSE CRUNCHY FMV`s AND PLING NOISES DUDE.
