My Universe - Puppies & Kittens

Terrible game. The graphics are nice but that's literally the only thing going for this game. The controls are awful. The achievements don't work. There's barely anything to do in the game, and the little there is, you're met with horrible controls that just ruin it completely. What a disappointment of a game.

Nice game but achievements do not work :( It is 7/19/22 and still achievements not fixed. :( Now 10/5/22 and achievements still do not work :( Talk to PUBLISHER:Microids they know the problem and even sent pictures to show what achievements I suppose to have so they are know of the issue and still not fixed. :( 11/04/22. https://support.microids.com/en/support/tickets/341034 i made third ticket on 11/17/22. I accept they going to say working on it when that is a lie. I ADVISE no one to purchase this game due to them on false advertisement. This is what they sent me in email 11/23/22. They have time to add things but not fixed them. Do not buy this game from them. I am on pc. on 2/4/23 still have not fixed achievements.04/01/23 achievements still not working. I really wanted to like it. But as of right now, the controls are the worst part about it. The game is simple, which I knew going into it. But trying to walk the dog and it just doesn't give a crap about anything. Some things aren't explained either. Sadly, not going to play anymore.

was looking for a relaxing sim to take care of pets and this was one of the only few i found, the game is really simple but i think it's nice that way, my laptop isn't the best so i can't experience it to the fullest but from what i have played, it's really cute and a nice time passer! the only 'issues' i think i see with the game at the moment is when you walk the dog you basically have to use the arrow keys because the mouse is really janky and it's at 200 sensitivity, and also there's not much to do in the game other than be at your house with the pets, be walking them, or be at the kennel, so i feel like adding some more areas to the game to explore would be cool! For example, being able to explore outside your house yourself instead of just having fixed areas to be in, also being able to control the walking when you're out with your dog, instead of it moving on its own i feel would make it more immersive! Another thing i think would be cool is if you were able to just have free roaming in general, whether that be in your house, at the kennel, or out with your small friends, again, would add to the immersion, although maybe instead of full free roaming, add an option in the settings menu to have it so if people want to have free roam they can but they don't HAVE to! Lastly, i feel like the animations could use a bit of work, not the actual movement animations, but like, when they turn or look somewhere, they kind of just instantly turn to look to that direction, and it's really choppy :( other than that, i really like this game it's adorable! i hope that maybe we could see more updates in the future! <3

was really excited about this game but it was very clunky the animals dont react to each other and you can only play with a pet one at a time its not much like the old nintendogs the only thing i say is good about this game is the graffics and the cute adorable kitty's

Ich bin echt begeistert von das Spiel Grafik super toll. Spiel Aufbau totall super und und muss sagen beim Gassi gehen totall witzig gemacht 😍🤣 macht weiter so

You can collect a lot of pets and take care of them. It is fun but also a job.

Well I normally don't write long reviews, but I had a sudden need to! So, I'mma give off my pros and cons of this game, then add little tips for new players / possible players. <3 I've played this game on steam and on the switch. (originally bought it on the switch.) [h2]Pros: [/h2] The pets are super adorable and the different colors they game in was such a joy. I was happy to see they included even some rare colors (Merle, Piebalds, and etc). It reminded me a lot of Nintendogs back in the day. It's an easy and chill game that I would get lost in the cuteness. Just like nintendogs, when you take your dog for a walk sometimes you'll find an item and it be a hat or something. I enjoy the cute art style but I know some people aren't too into that. You unlock more pets, mainly kittens that I'm seeing so far, The contest you can do is a little dress up contest. It's easy and silly. There are some bugs to the game, (weird for a pro?) but you have a autosave. So, you can always close the game and not really loose any progress. [h2]Cons: [/h2] Unlike nintendogs, you have to feed each pet on their own. Which is okay when you have 1 or 2 pets, but you can have 5 of them at one sitting. Speaking of each time, playing with your dog is a little bit harder. Since when you get the ball back, you can't throw it again right away. You got to go through all the same steps again. There are mini graphically issues and animations that you'll notice. They also labeled some of the colors wrong, as someone that really likes dogs I noticed this, they call Piebald as ticking and Merle as Roan (The merle they have listed has smaller spots, while their 'roan' is Merle but with bigger spots). This game has been abandon and doesn't get any updates. The achievements don't work because of this. [h2]Tips and Tricks: [/h2] SPOILER ALERT, just in case [spoiler] When you start, the first 5 pets you see is what you can start out with. You can't regenerate them unless you do some hoops with your game. (Task Manager close it, restart the file and so on.) You can't get rid of pets later on, You'll notice a mission that says 'Animal Hoarder, adopt x (I forgot the number) amount of pets'. In order to finish this mission, you must hit load and start new files. It will transfer the points (and anything you unlock with those points) to each file. It won't transfer the pets over, but you will have go through the tutorial again each time. Then be stuck with whatever 5 pets they generate for you. (one of them always being a golden or at least what I noticed.) [/spoiler] So overall, I rate this a 7/10 stars. Mainly for the bugs, but can't help when the game has been abandoned. It's still enjoyable non the less to me. Brings back my nintendog days. I wouldn't buy this game at full price but it's a fun little game for when it's on sale.
