MY ADAPTATION IN(TO) HUMAN

Yeah, no; trying to click enough red circles before you die in the battle with the four guys is completely and utterly impossible. I appreciate trying something new compared to past games from Spoocle, but the execution in [i]ADAPTATION[/i] leaves SO much to be desired.

I was jumping between recommending this or not, but I'll give it a thumbs up for the cheap price. It's an interesting little horror themes game where you play as a parasite taking over a human body. It's pretty rough though. The combat is really jank and honestly just a mouse click spam fest. The atmosphere is the only thing carrying the game really. The final chapter is also a drastic tone shift, in a way I'm not sure everyone would like. The game goes from uncanny, to feeling like a parody/joke game in the final chapter with references and jokes about things like real streamers. If that sounds interesting to you, go for it. It's a short experience, and cheap, so won't cost you much time or money. Just know it's very rough and has some strange tonal shifts.

MY ADAPTATION IN(TO) HUMAN es algo a medio camino entre una experiencia visual y una novela visual, todo bien regado con una buena cantidad de body horror y existencialismo. Los que queráis un "juego" en el sentido estricto, absteneos; MY ADAPTATION IN(TO) HUMAN tiene secciones de combate dónde sólo has de hacer clic y son una excusa para representar el enfrentamiento sin que sea una línea de texto como el resto de cosas que pasan en el juego. Los que queráis una experiencia muy curiosa que mezcla varias temáticas, tiene una presentación y ritmo curiosos y hasta tiene un pizquita de humor negro, encontraréis en MY ADAPTATION IN(TO) HUMAN una pequeña joyita. Encima es baratísimo.

Very short but fun game. The gameplay isn't super engaging - you pretty much just spam click all over the screen - but it's a great little snippet of a cosmic horror story in the same vein stylistically as Who's Lila?

Sometimes i feel that i'm adaptating too... Another great visual novel from this dev
