Wander rooms, collect the things, take them to the other things before finally taking them to the last thing. Rinse, repeat. All while being pursued by a slow moving monster. The first warning sign was when I noticed how many positive reviews listed the game being "bug free" as a pro. I guess in the age of Steam Greenlight that is kind of a rarity. And they're not wrong. The game works, and I didn't notice any bugs. I also didn't have any fun. I've played worse games for sure, but given the current state of Greenlight and Early Access that can't really be considered a good recommendation.

Goodnight Butcher ...
You dont see many games that is used with adobe flash. At First i thought the game was made with "engine 001: until i recieved pop ups from adobe every couple mins asking "permission for the flash player to store local content". All you do is collect objects while being chased by a deadly monster! The monster moves pretty slow, so running away isnt an issue. You do your job as a butcher grab meat, saw it, grind it, etc all while avoiding this MONSTER! Pros: controls nice animation Steam trading cards soundtrack is pretty good Good detail of portraying a butcher shop bloody Simple objectives= complicated atmosphere Cons: Monster moves to slow Cluncky moving around objects pop ups from adobe minimize the game Needs controller support character gets stuck on objects No leaderboard to see fastest time
Goodnight Butcher is a craptastic Adobe Flash game with MS-Paint pixel "art", and if that's not enough to cause you to scroll right past this in search of better games, there's more and it's worse. In an attempt to be "edgy" because being a butcher is sometimes a gruesome job, this Flash game is set in a butcher shop and has a predictably gruesome/gory theme. How very edgy, that will generate so many sales. Actually most of the sales of this game are due to the availability of trading cards. The game itself is crap, as you wander around a huge, cavernous butcher shop with more rooms than a Las Vegas hotel, doing 2D top down adventuring stuff and inventory management... except all badly done, because this is done in Flash. From a technical perspective, the game doesn't meet basic minimum requirements that most PC gamers expect as standard. The artwork here is terrible, it's a blend of old retro pixel "art" used as a substitute for contemporary PC graphics, and some of the most amateurish MS-Paint style drawings I've ever hurt my eyes on. It's unclear if this is due to lack of budget to arrange someone who can do graphics properly, or lack of talent, regardless, the overall visual quality of the game is extremely low as a result of these decisions. There's no options to change the resolution for the game or customise the graphics settings. There's no way for gamers to ensure this is running at the native resolution of their displays... there's no guarantee this game will look right on any PC as a result of this hamfisted design decision. There's no way for gamers to try improve the low quality graphics. The controls can't be customised, which will be an annoyance for many, but it can also render the game unplayable for differently-abled gamers. To make matters worse, there's no mouse input, despite this being sold on PC as if it were a PC game (in fact the developer deliberately made the mouse pointer say "NO MOUSE". So they could have added mouse input, but they really wanted to annoy PC gamers instead. What a joke. This is unacceptable and somewhat insulting to PC gamers. It's a good demonstration of the poor attitude the developer has towards PC gamers, and this attitude has resulted in yet another defect in this game. Comically, the game was written in Adobe Flash (I'm not making this up). Talk about not using the right tools for the job. Might as well try to bake a cake with a screwdriver. The extremely poor choice of game engine here is a major contributing factor to the defects with the game. These technical defects push this game below acceptable standards for any modern PC game. Reviewing SteamDB to check how popular this game was with players reveals a surprise... there's a very healthy spike in player counts for the game. But this only appears around the same time that trading cards were applied to the game... so this is just card idlers getting their cards and moving on. A closer look at the numbers shows the game just has a couple of players every week running up the game and idling it for cards, then deleting it. We must ask how it benefits gamers for there to be so many games like this, with no merit as a serious game, that only generate sales from people idling and selling the trading cards. Goodnight Butcher is relatively cheap at $2 USD, but it's not worth it. Given the defects and quality issues with the game, coupled with the unrealistic price, this is impossible to recommend.
It's kinda like those Five Nights at Fatty games and I don't like those either :<(
É beeeem ok, com uma gameplay mediana e mas bem criativo. Achei lenta a progressão
Terribly repetitive gameplay, uninspired and bland. Wasted my time entirely.
Goodnight Butcher hra pro rok 2017. Akce a napětí, doporučuji koupit!!
