Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation Quest of Memories

I am a pretty decent fan of Mushoku Tensei, after my friend had me watch it, it has grown on me, and that comes from a guy who doesn't watch a lot of anime. So, when I heard there was a game of it, I thought it would be pretty fun! I had my friend join me on call for the most horrible 60 minutes of my life. For one, the game has reused assets EVERYWHERE. I hope you like Rudeus telling you to play only for 1 hour, because you will hear that multiple times while traveling through reused asset field. Every single location looks around the same, and I would forgive this if the graphics didn't look like they came from the Wii. 2nd, this game has the weirdest use of cutscenes I have ever seen. It's either a still shot taken from the anime, or the 2d png's awkwardly sliding into frame. VERY SLOWLY sliding into frame. 3rd, while the music is pretty decent, it does NOT fit the theme of the game. Why am I traveling through a place called Devils ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ and hearing tropical music??? "But you only played for an hour!!!!" If a game does not interest me in a hour, then is it really worth my time? Maybe I would play longer if this game was $15 or $20, but this was almost $50!!!!! Do you know how much I could buy for that??? This is piss-poor shovelware that ANY IP could use. I'm not kidding, you can change the characters, locations, and story but keep EVERYTHING else the same; like gameplay or assets, and BOOM. This game slaps Mushoku Tensei across the title just so they can suck $45 from your wallet. It's insane how awful this game is. Somebody had to PLAY this and say it was good enough for publishing. HELL I PLAYED THIS. It cuts STRAIGHT to the middle of season 1 btw. After turning point 1? I get this is a game for the fans, and most new viewers won't start by playing this. So if that's the case why do I need a recap of the whole ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ story??? Why are we skipping the start of season 1??? The game STARTS after paul's death and is literally just a flashback. Why couldn't this be real time? There was 0 reason for this to happen? Was this game made in under 2 weeks??? The only good thing about this game is that under 100 people downloaded it, so I hope you made no money off this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. I am happy so many people refunded this, because that's what I will be doing. Also, NO ORSTED??? MAIN VILLIAN??????? SCARIEST GUY??? INSTEAD WE GET RANDOM ASS MONSTERS THAT THEY PULLED OUT OF THEIR ASS. WHEN WAS LOVELY BUNNY IN MUSHOKU TENSEI??? This game is not good. Please please please go spend $45 on something actually worth your time. It wasn't even a "so bad it's funny" game. It was just a BAD game. If you are a BIG fan of mushoku tensei, maybe...just maybe you will find some joy in this game. if you are ANYTHING else, PLEASE just watch the show and read the light novels. 1/10, just because talhand is in it.

As a frequent buyer of random games and refunding before the two hours i have to say This might be the number one worst game I ever tried. As a watcher of the show and one who saw mixed reviews I gave this game a chance. The people leaving positive reviews are too... obsessed with Eris pumping up the review score because of this. I have started off the new year poorly but now know at least it can't be even worse I HOPE. The sale price never drops below 20%. I'd say try this game in 10 years when it drops to 90 % off. I fr can't stress this enough unless you got generational wealth to blow on this game don't do it. (Please don't prosecute me for offending your goddess Eris)

有愛的話可以玩 情懷 10/10 遊戲性 4/10 建議前期用回復loop 中期用盾loop 後期用大波貓貓普攻打暴擊傷害 完。。。

this game is so good for people who like Roxy or this anime,although it is little bored

遊戲方式與時代脫節

Decent dungeon crawler game based on the Mushoku Tensei anime. Some things might be repetitive for players regarding its RPG elements after hours of playtime, depends on your tolerence for it. Yet by the time you get to the second half of the game, things do tend to get more challenging, incentivising the player to make use of newer and better skills to stay alive along with strategy, especially for the bosses. The bosses can get pretty difficult later on as a "group boss" or "single boss" fight. The japanese voice acting and music is pretty good in this game, but I must warn you. This game covers mostly Rudeus' adventure on the Demon continent(A little bit on the Millis continent as well). So basically the second half of season 1. In anycase feel free to try it, if you want, if that's one of your favourite arcs after turning point 1 and you want a recap of it with gameplay. It would probably take someone 20-30 hours to beat it casually, while for full completionist, it should take about 35-50 hours. (Yep...The dungeon crawling part can take quite a bit of time if you wanna cover everything) I wouldn't quite say it's worth the price, granted it has many hours of content, though I wouldn't say it would get most people hooked for as long as to actually get them to beat the game. But if it's on a 50% or more discount, I think I would recomend it to anyone who is a big fan of Mushoku Tensei and has the tolerence to go through a decently long RPG dungeon crawler game.

プレイした直後の感想としては、 ストーリーの導入が強引で、ゲームシステムも中の下といったところでしたが、 終盤にかけては、 アニメではカットされていたストーリーもあり、描き下ろしの一枚絵も挿入されるなど序盤に比べて丁寧に描かれていて、 ゲームシステムもATBシステムを理解したうえで、スキルやアイテムを使わないとクリアできなくなるなど、それなりに楽しめるようになっていると思いました。 コントローラーレイアウトがゲーム内で変えられないことも不満ではありますが、steam側でゲームごとに設定できるので、特に支障はありません。 内容に比してやや割高な印象は受けますが、原作ファンやアニメファンなら序盤を乗り越えれば楽しめると思います。（序盤が参入障壁になってるのは原作リスペクトかな(笑)）
