Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 7.71/day in the week to Sep 8 → 10.86/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Strike first, or die. A single mistake can cost your life in a brutal clash of metal. Too big to destroy with one swing? Climb bosses and slice them into pieces, turning colossal machines into dust.
MEGASTRUCTURE
Not everything can be solved with a chainsaw. Alone with a flashlight, you are powerless against the crushing atmosphere of the structure. Rush through the darkness in endless corridors and cross liminal spaces.
Insignificant as you are on the scale of this cursed place, you have to face your fears and complete the job. But can you fight your megalophobia?
SLICE OF LIFE
Get in, eliminate the machines, and get out. That was the job. But upon arrival, the mysterious megastructure proves far larger than expected, and P quickly realizes this is no ordinary job.

For reference, I got this in a discounted bundle with Haste. Prior to this review i played for just shy of 2 hours on steam deck and i have not completed the game. I beat the first boss and got halfway through the second chapter before deciding it wasnt engaging enough to justify pushing through. Motorslice is the answer to the niche question: "What if Nier: Automata was made for the PS2?" That sounds like it could be a pretty fun game, sure. But when you play Motorslice you will not be reminded of the classic PS2 games of yesteryear having been overcome with nostalgia, thinking: "Wow, the simple low-poly geometry of the levels and enemies is super aesthetic!" or "The vibes are immaculate!" You're more likely going to be thinking: "Wtf, why is the character doing that. I didn't press that button...", "Damn these controls suck.", and "No, i don't want to smell her feet...?" Like Nier Automata, you're playing through an episodic action-adventure story about a goonerbait anime girl in a dusty post-apocalyptic (maybe?) ruins of a prior civilization (i think?) fighting rogue robots in melee combat with your own little AI companion, eventually defeating monstrous robotic bosses in massive combat arenas. Unlike Nier Automata, the story doesn't really go anywhere, the combat doesn't have much depth, and there's simply not enough substance or interesting gameplay to keep you engaged. The developer has posted that the game is a "slice of life action-adventure with immaculate vibes." About 1/3 of that is accurate. I wouldn't really classify the passing 3 lines of dialogue every 15 minutes slice-of-life, even less so when there's only one actual dialogue choice and it's whether or not to be a freak. The vibes are like, alright, i guess. Definitely not immaculate. And even if the vibes were immaculate as previously stated, vibes alone can't carry subpar or frustrating gameplay. And that leaves action-adventure, which is true. If you want a simple, classic, PS2 era platformer and are willing to put up with occasionally funky controls, you may really like this game. It's not a failing of a game, but has some persistent pain points that really bring down the experience. If future patches are able to somehow iron out the movement wackiness and make the responsiveness better, I'd like to try pushing through and finishing the game. With the current awkwardness with the controls, I feel it pushes the game from "mid" territory into frustrating.

this game is insanely good. just try the demo, there is literally no reason not to. it might look like a gooner game (and it slightly is, but its mainly parkour, liminal spaces, and motorslicing. just try the demo, trust me its good.
Actually OK core gameplay, but the game doesn't really throw much into it to spin the formula throughout the story (it throws something , it just doesn't change things much). I'd say it's a simple game mechanically (combat is maybe too simple), but I had some frustrations with it: mainly because of quirky navigation of the parkour and Motorslice™ systems (I've completed the game but properly learning how to change directions when Motorslicing™ felt impossible even at the last chapter). Another frustration was map navigation. There were way too many times when I just didn't know which direction is the main route. The worst example of it was in one of the last chapters (penultimate? idk) where I had to find my way through the fence, that couldn't be jumped from the ground -- to jump it I had to elevate myself with hackable platform nearby, but the distance between the platform and the fence was too big, so to jump it and not die from fall damage, I had to time it with platform's descending, then land on the fence (like, a few pixels thick) and then come down from it onto the other side. After that I was able to progress, but it really didn't feel like something intended (maybe it wasn't, but the fact that I got confused with where should I go and ended up forcing my way where I shouldn't would make map navigation look even worse). Overall I feel like the game knows what it wants to be, but never quite reaches that vision: it got the core idea, the style, some lore, not that bad gameplay, but nothing's great here. Well, if you're a simp then there might be one good reason to play it and it's Patricia P. Motorslice™ herself. But for me nearly all cutscenes with Orbie (the player) interacting with her were just painful to watch. Those are just simp-bait... no, even gooner-bait at times. One scene in particular is just borderline fetish stuff. If not for that maybe I'd actually recommend this game. Anyway, if very one-sided flirting with tomboy protagonist isn't a problem for you and you're a big fan of, let's say Mirror's Edge or some other parkour platformers, you can give it a shot. Also it's fairly short (10-12h) and has very easy achievements, if you're into that stuff.
Wonderful game, the atmoshere is great, P is cute, the music is pretty cool, the controlls are sometimes a bit tricky but overall a Great game !!!! Can't wait to see more of it !!!!
