Forge your destiny in the player-driven fantasy world of Mortal Online 2, populated by other players who bring with them their own unique experiences and content. Whether you wish to be an artisan providing masterfully crafted arms and armor, a member of a powerful faction that occupies a region of the world, a tamer training rare and exotic beasts, a highwayman robbing others, or a noble soul seeking to protect the weak from outlaws and beasts—The story of your journey will be written through your actions, and you choose the direction of each chapter.
From the bustling cities of a once-great empire to gloomy volcanic wastelands, frigid ice-capped mountain peaks to sweltering hot jungles full of beasts stalking through the undergrowth, fog-blanketed bamboo forests to dark caverns unexplored for centuries—the world of Mortal Online 2 is huge and brimming with creatures, secrets, resources, and opportunity.
With four races and the option to mix multiple bloodlines within each race, you can forge a character perfectly tailored to your intentions. In addition to deeply customizing your character’s appearance, you can also build your character the way you’d like without the limit of being bound to classes. Invest in a large variety of impactful armor, weapons, and spells. Choose from an extensive list of unique skills and train them to master them—And if your chosen journey leads you down a new path, freely retrain your character as you see fit.
Mortal Online 2 offers you the choice to play the way you want to, whether alone or with others, with an expanding list of content to facilitate different styles of gameplay. Master numerous in-depth professions such as fishing, armor and weapon crafting, alchemy, and butchery; scour dark dungeons for rare spells to add to your collections; construct and furnish your home with a growing list of decorations; pick rare herbs to sell in far away lands for a profit; or gather together a band of like-minded adventurers into a guild and claim a castle. No matter the direction you take, your time in Nave will be unlike any other—entirely your own and always a part of its history.
Mortal Online 2 is a world full of impactful choices and consequences. With the exception of placing your items in a bank, almost everything—from armor to gathered resources—will be dropped on your death. This danger exists not only in the monsters and environmental hazards, but from other players as well. Guilds clash, duels are fought, and some may even take up the role of highwayman—all using real-time directional action combat. In a world shaped by conflict, every skirmish could spark something that changes the history of Nave forever.
The world remains large without fast travel, and if you choose to leave the well-guarded settlements and venture into the wilds—it can be dangerous. Many beings exist to be discovered, powered by a dynamic system allowing them to not always be found in the same spot. Encounter skittish deer-like springboks to gargantuan trolls that can throw fully-armored soldiers like toys. Whether you seek to collect rare items, tame a beast to fight by your side, or hunt down a rare creature, the possibilities presented by the world are many, and growing.
In Mortal Online 2, the actions of the players decide the social landscape and very gameplay environment in which you play. Whether it’s a house you happen upon in the wilderness, a guild who claim ownership over a region, a list of goods and animals available for purchase on a local auction house—Players, just like you, did all of it.

TLDR;Sub based game with less than 300 player average player count with map that takes hours to cross, barebones pve, dominated by toxic PVPers that youre not allowed to attack or run from. Do not buy. Honestly this game is interesting in concept and has some cool systems. I like the levelling, the taming of beasts and the magic systems. Unfortunately its just not worth playing. I have 500 hours on record simply because i had friends to help me and guide me. I would not have spent more than a day on this game otherwise. This game is absolutely a PVP game ruled by guilds/alliances that will run you down with hordes if you step in the wrong territory for: Being in the wrong guild, hitting another player, fighting back when someone tries to kill you, trying to run from someone who tries to kill you and last but not least just for existing. This games PVE feels more bare bone than anything else tbh outside of the systems i enjoyed above. Forget about any meaningful questing (or any at all? I dont remember doing any quite honestly. Last but not least this game has a subscription based model, which for the fact it has 300!!! players left and already costs 34 euro is just a shot in its own foot.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Doesn't have enough players to justify a subscription model, Not hard to see why the game has under 500 avg players.
This game had potential. That was lost. The devs are money grubbing toxic people. instead of making it a fun environment, they turned it into a game that feeds peoples worst tendencies. People will grief you constantly and then act like a COD Black ops lobby after they win. Even if you don't say anything they will start talking ♥♥♥♥ to you in global. The fact that the majority of the players are well over the age of 30 makes that even more pathetic. I played in early beta and put a lot of time building my char up. I came back to it about 1 1/2 months ago(time of review 5/29/26) and the developers decided to go from a unimplemented crime system to prevent toxic griefing to practically promoting the greifing. To even stand a chance in PVP you need a fully developed char with high end trinkets. Beyond that don't even get me started in all the hoops you have to jump through just to build your char up. You will have to go to multiple areas to pick up the skills you need and every griefer loves to camp them for the easy prey on the new players. So to summarize. Toxic devs///Toxic playerbase///♥♥♥♥ game mechanics. The only good thing i will say is the world is beautiful to look at.
Paying full price for a dying game killed by it's own venomous playerbase is bad enough, having to sub to play a game where you have to pay a tax to sweats to play the game is dystopic comedy even the most vile of serpents would fail to come up with on their own. Buy it on sale, play it for the free month they give you and come to your own conclusions but if your brain has the capacity to come to logic based conclusions you will come to the same determination that I and many others have. Let this game die so that the greedy CEO has to sell his admittedly robust server meshing tech to the industry so that other less concieted studios can utilize it and make something better and less driven by the sole greed of one mans dying vision. It's one guy ruining this whole concept and if you've been around since the Mortal 1 days you know exactly who it is I'm speaking about.
Everything about this game is clunky and feels awful. It really seems like this should be some new studios early access game and not the sequel (really a remake) to a game that was worked on for 10 years. I cannot recommend a new player EVER try this game in it's current state. In essence the game is full of good ideas that were implemented in the worst possible way. This has not changed since Mortal Online 1 over 10 years ago. The AI is awful. Enemies can hit you from miles away in melee combat when you or your pets have to be in close to land a hit. They will path over and through terrain and buildings that you have to navigate around. They will also crowd around you and don't play by the same rules you do so combat is less skillful and more just a dps race when every pull contains multiple enemies. Also animals cannot be realistically parried in the current state because their animations do not align with their attacks in most cases. Movement feels like trying to wade through waist high mud in the best case, and in the worst case somehow manages to make 007 GoldenEye on the N64 feel like the inspiration for this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. Combat in theory is good, but compared to chivalry, mordhau or many others is a janky, clunky ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ even before ping is taken into consideration. Archery is probably the best feeling style of combat right now. Melee combat with parrying is a joke because the meta is to spin so the enemy can't see your attack direction and release mid spin to effectively prevent you from being able to react. Magic is in a weird state, with it being good in theory but a nightmare to get started. Also the entire system is clunky as hell with the criminal system and some spells being raycast with instant hitting effects and others having skill based projectiles. Also half the spells don't work right or are not worth using because balance is so bad. Tames are borderline useless because the AI is awful for tamed pets, autoattacks are clunky and do very little damage, and there is a weird clunky ability system that is absolutely mandatory to actually be effective but also is boring and difficult to use. Half the time if something is aggressive to you and you tell your pet to attack it will miss over and over again because your pets attack range is ~0.02m while the enemy range is 20m. Also if you die your pet will almost certainly join you because without giving it commands it will at most auto attack and do nearly no damage. The world is massive and beautifully crafted, but is largely empty and lifeless with random enemy locations that feel forced and unnatural and lot's of cool locations that have nothing going on in them. This is the same problem they had with the first game, which this game shares the exact same map with. They can make the world but seem to have no idea what to fill it with. But by far the worst thing about this game is it's community, who for some reason are intent on driving all new players away and will go out of their way to make your game time miserable. Not to say there aren't nice players, but by far most of the people still here want the game to be a free for all and view any restriction to their ability to kill every single person they see as an absolute travesty. Then they bemoan the fact that the game has a small population and wonder why people don't stick around to get jumped 2v1, 3v1, or worse every time they leave a city. I've played full loot PVP games for over 20 years and anyone with a brain knows that sort of behavior kills an online game but the developers don't see the need to put any real restrictions on Random player killing at all so it is what it is.
I will preface that I am not hugely into the small scale pvp that this game has mostly become. If you are into Territory Control, large scale warfare, and perhaps PvE aspects in order to grow and make money, you should read this review before purchasing. The Developer, "Henrik", is far too focused on his game being so hardcore that he does little to detour murdering. The game has a huge issue with players just murdering other players right outside of towns, and anywhere, constantly, for no reason other than they can. Murder is far too cheap and easy in this game with little penalty. Essentially you either join a larger guild for protection, or you become good enough to be in a smaller guild that has a lot good players in it; Because the entire game revolves around murder. Murdering other players is cheap in this game, and that detours most people from playing this game, because people who get their kicks off from killing people without caring about territory control will simply go around murdering new players endlessly. The game needs some serious balancing when it comes to murder. For example, I can report someone for murder and all that happens is they get a -30 to the regional standing (if standing gets too low, guards attack and kill them on site, but -30 is not a lot when standing goes up to 1,000 and the daily tasks give about 17 standing per day). In addition, murder counts only last 8 hours, after that, they vanish from existence as if they never happened. And although there are "red" players that can be killed without penalty, you have to kill 8+ other players before that happens, meaning, you can kill up to 7 potentially innocent players within 8 hours and still be able to report others for murder and walk into towns freely......(add more periods here). there are regions where you cant report others for murder, I actually think that is good game design. But if there's going to be entire regions where people cant be held responsible for murder, then murder needs to be more costly in guarded regions. Essentially, the game encourages murder by making it quite affordable, which encourages ratty players and griefers. Until Murder is taken seriously and its penalties are increased, this game will suffer and continue on as a small scale, ratty pvp game where people murder others just because they can, endlessly. Mortal Online 2 used to be a great large scale warfare pvp game, I remember the 100+vs100+ battles where you had to be organized and effective or you got wiped by a small army. This game is no longer like this and has not been for more than a few years now. I will probably continue to play the game, because it's skill system and endless ways to make a character build really intrigue me and are impressive. But I would never recommend this game to a new player, never. They will either become a murderer and make the game worse, or they will suffer greatly due to its poor murder mechanics being murdered constantly when trying to mind their own business. This game has incredible potential, and it could probably make a fortune and have thousands of active players if it were more approachable to new players and more lenient to people who enjoy PvE aspects. All of the beauty and PvE aspects of game are amazing, yet, quickly interrupted after you get murdered right outside of town or by your own house minding your own business in the middle of nowhere. This game is literally more bloody than the dark ages, it is unrealistically aggressive due to an overly aggressive player base. Why? Because they control the game, because most of them are murderers due to murder being easy and cheap.
Terrible Game. 1. You start in a safe zone known as haven and are stuck there for roughly 12 hours. 2. Get in "Normal map" and wonder aimlessly for another 3. 3. Have a 30 minute conversation with someone in game that explains it is a PvP game but if you PvP you are cut off from the majority of Society. 4. Apply for refund and get denied because of predatory start in an MMO that makes you play past 2 hours to figure out it is trash. 5. Just supporting a not sh*t company that still supports an outdated pay per month system.
I really wish this game was better. Coming back after a few years and nothing has dramatically improved. Combat somehow became worse with the changes, sieging is still RMT based (even though there are sub500 player peaks), I have a bunch of my old gear missing from the bank, and to top it all off they community manages to be super toxic when a returning player asks some questions in global chat. Game is scuffed. Do no come back and do not resub. Im definitely disappointed.
Honestly a really great game but the complaints are valid. Make it F2P or Buy To Play
The moment i leave haven as a fledgling(yellow tag) i leave the first town fabernum im getting ganked and killed by some idiot on a wolf with a bow, i go back to get the stuff he kills me again, i leave the game i come back the next day, same thing, same idiot kills me, i have nothing on me just some random 1 hand sword and empty inventory, next day, same thing, i can't experiance anything in the game so yeah im definity not coming back to this garbage game and definitly not paying a sub for this nonesense , extremely bad new player experiance DO NOT BUY!
