Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.71/day in the week to Sep 13 → 3/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I didn't like Mordheim when i first played it way back when it came out but I have recently started streaming it to my channel and have started taking a great liking to its rustic, buggy, wacky RNG charm. Just don't take it too seriously and its pretty entertaining!
Amazing tactical turn based RPG in the Warhammer Fantasy setting. I will never grow tired of this game.

Reinstalled because I forgot why I stopped playing it at 3 hours. It only took one game to remember why. its just attrition simulator. you're constantly getting ♥♥♥♥♥♥ by rolls that heavily favor the ai, which can be overcome, but at the cost of lots of troop health, which carries over to the next fight. it sucks tbh. like unless your hobbies include; rubbing 60 grit sandpaper all over your body, chewing on glass, sticking your wiener in a fire ant hill, and/or jumping into tiger pits at the zoo, then you probably wont have a lot of fun here. :)
This game is a curse, I tell you. It's this vicious, unending cycle that draws me in, makes me legitimately hate Warhammer Fantasy for a bit, makes me leave, and makes me come back. The cycle for this game is as follows... 1) I haven't played the game for a while and see a random YouTube video or just think about it and go. "Oh yeah, I wonder why I stopped playing this game, it looks awesome." 2) I pick up the game and start a campaign, usually selecting skaven, empire, or witch hunters. 3) I play through a numb slog and suddenly remember why I haven't played the game in a while. It doesn't communicate half the mechanics that are important to making sound tactical decisions. And in spite of this the computer will capitalize on these rules that you aren't aware of or informed about as they're handled entirely behind the scenes. And while I'm sure that it gets fun if you get good at the game. The initial gameplay is so slow and unrewarding that I lose interest in it long before I 'get good' at it. After all, I'm not going to 'get good' at a game if it's boring, unrewarding, and frustrating. 4) I try again and again to see if I can do a bit better, this usually does have slightly better results than before, but the slow, dismal gameplay mixed with the frustrating RNG-dependent gameplay makes victories seem hollow and defeats feel like I've been cheated by a game that intentionally withheld information from me. This is only compounded by the grimdark atmosphere that makes every map feel fairly same-y. 5) I start losing interest in the game to the point that even watching YouTube videos on it just makes me feel increasingly cheated... like they're getting 20% higher hit rates than I did for no apparent reason. I end up resenting the game and really wishing I could leave a note on the game itself not to play it and why. 6) I end up uninstalling the game as it feels extremely disappointing and just couldn't hook me for longer than a few hours. 7) I don't play the game for a few months to over a year and forget about the game since the gameplay was so bland, boring, and forgettable that it didn't leave a lasting impression. 8) Eventually loop back around to 1. I'm sure that many people love this game, and more power to you. I do love the idea of what this game is and the concept of what it SHOULD be really is fascinating... however the gameplay has pushed me away a half-dozen times and it's quite clear that I'm never going to actually enjoy this game due to the poor in-game communication with the player, the atmosphere that gets boring after a half-hour, the unrewarding gameplay loop and the extremely repetitive feel of the gameplay. If this game were just tweaked slightly, I would absolutely adore it. However as it is, I can't get behind it, nor can I suggest it to anyone besides hardcore Warhammer Fantasy fans who don't mind playing through the slog.
As much as I love turn based strategies like Battle brothers, this is one is PAINFULLY slow. The turn drags on and on. At least I could use a speed cheat in Battle brothers to save time, but here you will wait minutes and minutes for the ai to complete its moves. And that is just one round of many... Then the unforgiving nature of the game further put me off from ever playing it again. Not recommended
This game opens with the kiss of death. "This is a brutal game where you have to make the most of a bad situation blah blah blah". This usually means "we didn't know how to make the AI play strategically, so we just throw RNG at the player". And honestly, this game really does come close to beating that allegation. But in the end it just gives up. Prepare to give up on using your brain, instead this game just makes you surround enemies and gank them to death. Any use of actual clever tactics will be punished by whiffs. No, the only way to play is to get the most number of high power attacks at the enemy until the RNG finally gets overwhelmed. IT COMES SO CLOSE TO BEING GOOD!
Very high learning curve and tough RNG, but awesome customization options just like the tabletop. Its very faithful adaptation of the original. No graphical issues whatsoever. If I would have a complaint, is that there is only the 6 core warbands. You can find some QoL improvements for the game in 3rd-party mods.
Get ready to miss a 95% hit chance :D
I didn't enjoy this game. It might have been good for its time, but playing it in late 2024, I found it frustrating and unengaging. The game kept crashing, and I had to rely on a post in the discussion tab just to get it to start—something players shouldn't have to deal with. The slow gameplay was also a major downside for me. This style of gameplay has come a long way in the past decade, and while this may have been innovative back then, it's not a game I'd play again or recommend to others.
