About
Since launch, Moonlighter has received a wealth of updates—from quality-of-life improvements and balance tweaks to major roadmap additions. The current version expands the original experience with new mini-bosses, gear, over 100 new room layouts, Companions, deeper lore, and a New Game+ mode packed with fresh challenges.

During a long-passed archaeological excavation, a set of Gates were discovered. People quickly realized that these ancient passages lead to different realms and dimensions – providing brave and reckless adventurers with treasures beyond measure. Rynoka, a small commercial village, was founded near the excavation site providing refuge and a place for adventurers to sell their hard-earned riches.
Moonlighter is an Action RPG with rogue-lite elements following the everyday routines of Will, an adventurous shopkeeper that dreams of becoming a hero.

While conducting your business in Rynoka village, you can put items on sale, set their price carefully, manage gold reserves, recruit assistants and upgrade the shop. Be careful though – some shady individuals may want to steal your precious wares!

Defeat various enemies and bosses, and revel in challenging and deep combat mechanics. Masterful control of your weapons, critical timing, careful positioning, and an understanding of your enemies and environment are crucial to your survival. How you battle your enemies is up to you.

Get to know your neighbors as you restore the prosperity of this small commercial hamlet. Help establish new businesses and watch them grow in the idyllic community of Rynoka.

Understanding the crafting and enchanting system is essential for your progression. Interact with the villagers to craft new armor and weapons, and enchant existing equipment. This creates a great deal of flexibility and spices up the way equipment is used.

Access strange worlds through otherworldly gates and collect valuable items from exotic civilizations: resources, weapons, armors and peculiar artifacts. Hoarding everything won't be possible - use the unique inventory system wisely to take the most profitable loot with you.

Gates lead to different worlds. Each run is unique and forces you to make smart and calculated decisions. You never know what you will encounter next – that’s why you must be prepared for everything.

Too few observations to say whether a discount moves this store's chart at all: across the last 30 days Steam · Top Sellers · Poland has just 18 day-to-day chart moves that followed a price cut, against 2,498 that did not. We are publishing the count instead of a direction — 20 is the fewest we will draw a conclusion from, and price collection outside the United States began on 6 August 2026.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

nice game
This is one of the best games I have ever played. I had it for 2 days and played for 19 hours and beat the game in that time 10/10 the dungeons, music, store management, dungeon exploration, and everything else is wonderful
겜 재밌고 가격찾고 하는건 좋은데 진짜로 가격 좀 빨리빨리 올라가게 해주면 좋겠음. 물건 하나 가격 올리는데 한세월걸림
Tried it out and couldn't get into it with the clunky controls. It has to be the least intuitive keyboard-only controls I've encountered. In what universe is "J" the main interact button? I was literally struggling with the menu to turn the sound down at the start because instead of using W-D to tab through menu sections and then D to select a setting, you have to use Z-C to tab through? Why not Q-E? I've played games with non-standard controls before but they were always ergonomic and intuitive. I want to be enjoying the game, not distracted by how weird the controls are.

TL:DR Art Direction: Superb Sound/Music: Superb World Building(Showing not Telling): Great Combat: Barely Serviceable (Many Feels Bad Mechanics/Hostile DM) Store Management & Overworld: Just Shy of Adequate Progression: Linear to a fault Conclusion: 7/10, only for very patient people with no anger issues. _ _ _ Gotta be fair here, this game is not for everyone. I got it on a free event and gave it an honest go. Beat it fair and square. That said, this game is a victim of its own premise. The world and ideas are very compelling. As such, players set their expectations accordingly. These will not be met and there will be disappointment. The game is not bad, but it fails to fill its own shoes in key gameplay features (Combat and Store Management). - Combat: Hitboxes and animations can be very misleading. Enemy attacks frequently have no telegraphing and will often frustrate. Some attacks deal damage to you before you even see an enemy wind up for an attack. There is also no hit stun, so enemies will super armor through your attacks and trade blows with you unless you cheeze them. - Store management: Despite being forefront on their presentation, the store management is very shallow and only really serves as a long winded way to turn your loot into gold. This would be far more engaging if what you sold and who you sold to had any effect on the world, but nope, just item = gold. No crafting in any way that matters. QoL progression w/ the town is pretty much non-existent and strictly limited to your store's ability to turn item into gold. I feel like this game could have benefited from a little more feature creep, but hey, it's indie and it had to go out the door eventually. Hoping their sequel expands and improves where it counts.
