Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

If you’re thinking about buying it, please remember: there’s a demo available. I honestly don’t understand buying the game and then leaving a negative review because it’s different from the first one. Moonlighter 2 definitely plays a little differently. The runs lean more into temporary, single-run buffs and build choices, somewhat closer to something like Hades. And honestly, I really enjoy that change. A sequel doesn’t have to be a carbon copy of its predecessor. There’s no need to constantly compare every mechanic to the first Moonlighter. Moonlighter 2 can stand on its own and it’s still a great game. Try the demo, see if the changes are for you, and judge the game for what it is rather than what you expected a sequel to be. I for one can really enjoy it.
The game is solid but a lil glitchy, but once you get the groove of it and upgrade a good majority of everything. It gives back the old Moonlighter feel. The quality system took some time to adjust to but once you focus on that the game has a good loop. Good luck!
I think I'd recommend this game to others, which is weird because I wasn't going to buy this game after playing the demo (demo was janky, felt bad to play, combined with being such a big departure from Moonlighter 1). They put a significant amount of work into the game between demo and release though (I'd put money on more than one dev at Digital Sun really liking Hades)... controls feel better, weapons feel better, progression feels better, resulted in 34 hours played within 3 days of purchase on my end. So if you played the first game but didn't like the demo of this sequel, it might still be good to try out. I will say the music in this one is nowhere near the same realm as Moonlighter 1 by David Fenn. I have zero doubts Christopher Larkin is an amazing composer, but I've been playing this game like a job for days now, and I can't remember a single track. Not a single tune sticks out or comes to mind when I think of the levels I've looped through 20+ times by now. This makes hearing the occasional motif he brings in from the David Fenn soundtrack a weirdly melancholic experience. It doesn't ruin the game at all, it's just such a stark difference from the charm of the first game.
The game plays extremely well and I am enjoying the changes made to some of the mechanics. I also think the storyline is solid/keeps me engaged. The similarities to Hades are favorable, not a detraction from the overall experience like some other reviews may call out - I feel like some people are more disappointed that this was not a 1:1 sequel (in terms of play style) and are too harsh on it. Also plays very well on the Steam Deck if you're worried about that.
