And at the same time, show your skeptical father that a life of compassion is possible – even for the undead.
Settle down in your family’s abandoned homestead and make it your own. Embrace immortality and unlock ancient abilities, all in the name of a more bountiful harvest. Unravel the mysteries of the seven families that inhabit Moonlight Peaks and bring a bit of light back to this spooky settlement. Just remember to be back in your coffin before the sun comes up!

Customize your perfect vampire persona and build relationships with the people of Moonlight Peaks to learn more about the town’s history. Uncover the secrets of the seven families who dwell there – and maybe even find your “tomb” love from any of the two dozen romanceable characters in the process.

Design your cozy gothic homestead, turning a forgotten farm into the ideal sanctuary. Obtain new tools and develop your property to grow even more enchanted crops and raise magical livestock.

Embrace your supernatural lineage! Shapeshift into other forms to explore all the town has to offer, and study witchcraft to learn spells that will help you on the farm or when gathering resources.

Beyond the farm, you’ll be able to enjoy fishing, foraging, and potion-crafting, along with activities like embroidering, flower arranging, and more. You can even collect cards for the town’s favorite game, Nokturna, to play against other residents.

I adore this game so much
I had wishlisted this game a looong while ago and excitedly downloaded the demo when it first released. The game had seemed perfect for me! I was really underwhelmed with the demo though. I was convinced I wouldn’t like the game. I was wrong and now I am completely obsessed! It may have been because I was not able to leave the farm in the demo. I don’t know but I am glad I didn’t let that fully dissuade me from buying the game. For me, it is everything I want in a cozy farm sim. Farming, animals, fishing, mining, decorating and character creation with a supernatural twist. None of the tasks are particularly difficult. The fishing minigame is pretty easy which I like. Fishing in SDV is the worst imo. I’m about 40 hours in and haven’t run out of things to do. I like the pacing, the NPCs, the world design and the storylines. I like that there are areas in the map that are shrouded until you unlock them. It keeps me invested in progressing. I have encountered a few very minor bugs but nothing game breaking. I also love that if you don’t make it home at the end of the day, you don’t lose anything at least not that I have noticed. It is a little pricey especially if, like me, the demo left a lot to be desired but so far I am pretty satisfied with the purchase and glad I gave ot a chance!
Moonlight Peaks is gorgeous and perfect to play for hours. Everything from the design and art to the items and animals is so beautifully created. The characters are diverse and layered, with the dialog options being so different to games I’ve played before, in the best way! This game is meant to be enjoyed without the rush, it’s easy to keep saying “one more night” and I love that. Thank you to the team who made this game!!
I had been excited for this game for years, and to see it finally come out (and without bugs!) is really such a treat. Contrary to others' opinions, I was really sucked in by the demo, and it made me even more excited for the game to come. Strangely, though, I found my interest waned a bit upon playing it. Don't get me wrong, it is still very good, but there isn't as much dialogue as I had been expecting, and the scenes are a bit shorter than I'd like. Also, some of the ways we're introduced to certain elements of the game (e.g., the seed store, the way we learn about vampsters) is less natural. For example, I'd think upon the first time we see a vampster, or pick one up, a character should approach us as in a cut scene explaining what we do with them, rather than waiting until we eventually find the cave (I was so confused at what I was meant to do with them for a while!) The seed store is fine, but if we'd had set hours more like a general store in most farming games, it would feel a bit more put together. Overall I am enjoying the game and would rate it a solid 8.5/10, but some of the pieces of making the game feel as alive as say Fields of Mistria weren't quite as polished as I'd expected. The idea, the world, and the art is really the best part of the game IMO. I hope it inspires devs to make more cozy spooky games, we need more of them!
i'm a manly man but i really enjoy this girly game
This game is a blast. And wow - so beautiful! Truly a joy to run around and enjoy all the little details. I love the quests, the storyline, and all the little surprises along the way. There is so much content and gameplay. I look forward to playing every chance I can get. What a wonderful game. Thank you devs!
Love it <3
If you like cozy farming sims, but have been wanting a spooky alternative, this is the game for you!
I Loved this game and it was worth every penny, Im only only day 30 and I've already sunk nearly 12 hours in. The day cycles are just short enough that time managment is a real aspect of the game, without making it feel like your just waiting for the day to end. Each and every character is intresting to talk to and for once, Im genuinely left conflicted over who to get my character to romance. I wish food was easier to make yourself as it does very little for you but it doesn't detract from me being able to enjoy the game. The map is also simple and easy to understand and doesn't overwhelm you with a billion places right at the start like some games. The quests are simple and straightforward while still being fun and theres still tons of things i haven't figured out yet, but cannot wait to explore. Honestly, its a solid game and the only thing keeping it from a perfect 10/10 if that i do wish there was more diolouge options for just casual chatting, and I wish we had a few more mean characters.'This is a solid 9/10 game.
This is a cute game, similar to Stardew. So far (11 hours in) there's no combat, but I'm not bored -- there's lots to do. There's a lot of relationship interactions, and foraging is a good source of income, not just farming/fishing.
