Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

lots of ups and downs in this one, but overall i enjoyed it a fair bit the idea of a monster catching metroidvania sounds perfect, but in execution it just feels like a flat 2D monster catcher game where you sometimes have to catch specific monsters to progress. the actual metroidvania aspect feels very weak and underbaked but i wouldn't call it actively bad. the only 2 upgrades you ever receive that is outside of catching a new monster with a new ability is a double jump and ability to swim in cold water fairly early into the game, which i understand why as constantly having to switch to a monster to get around most places would suck, but i feel expanding it to have two active monsters would have been nice, as a whole face button goes unused and it would minimalize time spent swapping around. some parts of the game can for sure drag, especially towards the climax of the story where i found myself getting really sick of the wild monster encounters and just running from them all if i ever bumped into one. it can feel frustrating when a boss isn't able to beaten with your current team even after numerous attempts as i really don't want to have to rebuild my entire team and strategy to counter this one boss, especially with how in depth the skill trees go for each monster making it very time consuming to figure out who/what would be best unless you know the monster beforehand. throughout almost the whole game i noticed i fell into an issue where outside the 3 first members of my team i was essentially carrying dead weight, as i just thought carrying other type counters for backup would be good enough, but they barely synergized and were often putting out less damage than my main team even when they were ideal. you have to invest a lot of thought and especially powerful equipment into monsters to keep them up to level with everyone else on your team which doesn't come naturally to someone jumping into this game blind and again can feel overwhelming and confusing. not a problem once you figure this out but in my opinion it should have been conveyed better, possibly using example synergy team builds in game early on to show the player how it works however due to this complexity, the way fights play out is super cool as it feels like there are tons of different strategies you can create building around different teams and combos and synergies, i feel like i only scratched the surface of what was possible. some good music in here too! nothing that was standout enough for me to really come back to aside from a few here and there that i'll listen to on a one off from time to time, but still it's worth noting i mostly skimmed the story, gave it a shot but i really didn't care for it and came off very vauge and generic, but whatever, i wasn't expecting much of a story to begin with so it doesn't bother me i also quite like some monsters designs here too, especially towards the end game you can find some awesome designs, though not all are winners of course is monster sanctuary a good metroidvania? no. is it a good game? for sure! 7/10

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 20: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

It was fun for an hour and then it became stagnant.

Yup, 'tis fun.
可!!!就是有些解密还给你搞限定时间通过 有点蠢
I played this game on console with Gamepass before I bought it on Steam, so my playtime is higher than it says. I have 71 hours on console + 13 at the time of my review on Steam for a total of 84. I love this game! The art was what intitially got me to download it on Gamepass and I bought it on Steam because I love the gameplay loop so much. It can get grindy at some points if you keep losing a particular fight, but if you have a good team with good synergy you can beat monsters and do Champions 3+ levels above your own monsters which makes it feel like you're spending less time grinding for levels. The grind also isn't too bad in this game, because you can just try upgrading your monster's equipment before doing level grinding. I love the artwork and the larger sprites in the Monster Journal have had me wasting time just admiring them. The scenery in every different area is beautiful, and the soundtrack is fantastic. Kudos to the sprite artists, the composer and the sound designers! The giant skill trees on every monster are my favourite part. Every time I get a new monster I spend at least 10 minutes poking around their skill tree to see if they'll fit into my team somewhere; and soemtimes I find a monster I hadn't considred in my first 40+ hours who turns out to be fantastic (looking at you, Caraglow). The story is also quite good. I spend the beginning of every playthrough finishing it completely before I go on to do other things. I recommend this game if you're like me and you're obsessed with skill trees and team synergies.
