"Summon a Vengeance Demon," they said. "What could go wrong?" they said. Our main character is in over his head! Fortunately, the demon Balasque has taken a liking to him. Wait...is that actually fortunate? A NSFW Visual Novel Dating Sim with a Truly Monstrous Monster!

This game has been a long time coming and I have to say that the result is very disappointing. The story is nothing surprising, rather average. The big disappointment is the length of the whole game, the amount of CGs is absurdly small and the price doesn't match the amount of content at all. If this is the route Y Press Games want to take, i.e. very below average content for a relatively high price, I'm going to be really disappointed. Purchase price: USD 13.31 Overall rating: 3/10
After waiting so long for this, I'm so sad to say it's very disappointing. The game itself is very short, which isn't always a bad thing but paired with the tiny amount of CGs and the average at best story it just feels like a rip off at the price. Buy on sale if interested, but meh
Short, but not sweet. The story was alright, but most of the dialogue was reused in every route. It felt very repetitive, and the entire time it was just the MC griping about his struggles and the demon consoling him. No character development, no story building, and the routes were so short. Also, all the h scenes in each route were just a copy and paste. Nothing new, same 2 images.
Short, cheap, and uninteresting.
Disappointing. I know its a vn, but there was very little entertaining visuals. Might as well have just been a book
this game is a lot like a long grocery store check out line. tedious, boring and you really wish you were anywhere else doing anything else.
I think the price drop is a lot more fairly priced. So I can recommend the game now, though I still do wish there were a few more CGs. The majority of endings are very similar and reuse a lot of the same dialog as each other. And there's only one sex scene, at most they split it up into two for one ending but it's the same dialog and images 99% of the time. I think like one ending had some unique inner monologues. Multiple ending paths include the same office dialog 1:1 and it's annoying how the game doesn't allow these dialogs to be skipped since you've read them already. I did find the majority of the story interesting, albeit slow at times in a few of the endings where it feels overly detailed for no reason (why do we need to read out the budget in so many of the endings?) but the lack of actual CGs is certainly felt. There's two adult ones. And even the portraits in the game there's not that many of them. It's very disappointing. And while I'm at it, I really dislike that in the vast majority of the story lines the main character is putting off the reused sex scene for the exact same reason and it's explained every single time. Can't he just in one of them go "let's go for it" and be more into it idk. I did like the story for the most part though, it just could've been polished up a bit. And I think the new price is a lot closer to what it should've been. Not too happy to have paid twice that myself, but hey.
I've been looking forward to this one for a while, and there's some aspects of this I really enjoyed, and some that were a little lacking. First of all, the writing is great! I find that's never in question with Y Press. I have no complaints about the story quality, and I enjoyed both MC and Balasque's dialogues, as well as the secondary characters. There's a decent variety of endings compared to the length of the game, and there's still one I have not yet seen. The music is solid and not too intrusive or sparse - it doesn't get repetitive as this is a shorter game. The art/sprites overall look great, with a few alternate emotive states - I love Balasque's big cheesy grin! However, when they said Monster *Lover*, they meant it in more of a general 'love' sense - not so much sex. If you are looking to feast your eyes upon plenty of monster dong + saucy dialogue, you may want to consider one of Y Press's other games as this one is mostly story focused and does not offer a wide variety of visuals or intimate scenes. I was hoping for a little more in that department as a lot of their other games offer a broader range + more in depth intimate scenes. Overall, 7/10 ~ Go into the game to enjoy the story, and you won't be disappointed!
I really was looking forward to the game it disappointed me a bit. The story interesting but short saw all endings, most are interesting but are simiiar , Art is lacking though, biggest let down. Music is ok. Overall I give it a 6.5/10. It short, get it on sale is my recommendation.
