As someone who's been hunting since the days of the original Monster Hunter and spent countless hours with Freedom Unite, 3 Ultimate, 4 Ultimate, and Generations, I can confidently say that Monster Hunter: World is one of the best evolutions the series has ever had. What impressed me most wasn't that Capcom made the game more accessible—it was that they managed to do it without sacrificing what made Monster Hunter special. The deliberate combat, learning monster behavior, preparing for hunts, and the satisfaction of finally taking down a difficult target are all still here. Every victory still feels earned. The seamless maps were a game changer. Gone are the loading screens between zones, making hunts feel far more immersive and dynamic. Watching monsters interact with each other naturally and using the environment to your advantage added a whole new layer of strategy that never felt gimmicky. Combat also feels smoother than ever. Weapon movesets were expanded in meaningful ways, making every weapon more expressive while preserving its identity. Whether you're a Great Sword main like I am or prefer something faster, every weapon feels polished and rewarding to master. I know some longtime fans missed aspects like paintballs, hot and cold drinks (before Iceborne brought some mechanics back), or the slower pace of older titles. But after hundreds of hours in World, I see those changes as reducing unnecessary busywork rather than removing meaningful challenge. The difficulty now comes from mastering the hunt itself, not fighting outdated mechanics. The monsters have never looked or behaved better. Their animations, AI, and ecology make them feel like living creatures instead of just bosses waiting in an arena. Tracking a monster through the Ancient Forest on your first hunt captured a sense of adventure that reminded me why I fell in love with the series in the first place. Most importantly, Monster Hunter: World brought millions of new hunters into the community while giving veterans a fresh and modern take on the formula we've loved for years. That's an incredibly difficult balance to strike, and Capcom absolutely succeeded. I've enjoyed every era of Monster Hunter, but World stands as one of the franchise's greatest achievements. It respects the series' roots while confidently pushing it forward, proving that modernization and tradition can coexist. It's a game I've happily sunk hundreds of hours into, and one I'll continue recommending to both newcomers and fellow veteran hunters.

good game 5/5 stars
Game is so awesome honestly I thought gameplay was gonna be long and boring and so grindy but honestly it wasn't at all so far the game is so amazing with the gameplay of tracking down the monster then hunting it being so amazing the game story looks nice every quest so far is nice a pretty awesome game
is fun
its aight
