Modeled estimate, not a reported figure. How we estimate →
Prices
The United States storefront in every case, so this compares stores and not countries.
Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
No United States chart position — it charts only in the markets below.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 52.86/day in the week to Sep 7 → 64.29/day in the week after.

Add-ons
Each DLC is estimated with the same model as a game, then summed — a modeled figure, not reported DLC sales.
Sums Steam only; PlayStation publishes no volume signal, so the true total is higher by an unknown amount.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 23: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Too few observations to say whether a discount moves this store's chart at all: across the last 30 days Steam · Top Sellers · Poland has just 18 day-to-day chart moves that followed a price cut, against 2,498 that did not. We are publishing the count instead of a direction — 20 is the fewest we will draw a conclusion from, and price collection outside the United States began on 6 August 2026.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

喜欢 算是初次接触这类游戏 给我很棒的体验感
游戏历史上浓墨重彩的一笔。不管是针对系列还是动作游戏来说,世界在崛起和荒野发售后,这个重要性更加突出
Monster Hunter: World was my entry to what is now possibly my favorite series. I had never played the series before or seen it, only heard about it through a buddy of mine. So I started this game basically entirely blind. Even now this game captures some joy in me that nothing else is quite able to. I don't make promises often, but I can promise you that if you start playing this game you will be stepping into a wonderful world of nature backed up by weighty and satisfying combat. It is not perfect, it is at times clunky and too busy insisting on itself to give even a singular ♥♥♥♥ about the user. But if you jive with the series I don't think you'll find anything quite like it. As said before, the game is not perfect. Some flaws are vestigial from previous games and some are new. I think World is as equally deserving of my praises as it is my criticisms so tl;dr the most prominent sin of this game is the AAA slop that is injected from the beginning. Though it started with MH4 this game continues to double down on giving extra attention to the story of the game. It is one thing to add some story behind the various NPCs and quests we do, unskippable cutscenes and a literal escort quest are another thing. I do not enjoy having to follow the dreaded Handler and listen to her talk about things I surely would have learned by exploring and playing a little bit on my own. I don't appreciate repeatedly having to sit through more of it as the game goes on. I don't mind the big talks with the whole crew back at base, what I object to is it getting directly in the way of my hunting. It's somehow worse in multiplayer because you can't even join the quest until the cutscene is over and if you haven't done it yourself the method is to get to the cutscene, watch it, leave your quest and then join your buddy's or vice versa. This aspect of the game is so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ mind numbingly archaic and untested I am still amazed that this was pushed to production and then to consumers. But that's about as scathing as I can get. The rest of my grievances lies in the new, usually undercooked, mechanics. The tracking mechanic seemed neat at first but I think giving it the power to always show all monsters on the map was a mistake that detracts from the experience of the hunt. It takes the place of paintballs and psychoserum and removes part of the tension of the hunt, keeping track of the monster and having to find it again if you lose it. I will also pay lip service to the technical issues that plagued this game for years and until this day, I came around long after and was safe from a lot of these issues. It's only a decent Monster Hunter game, but it's a good game. I will buy another 10 copies of this before I consider buying a 2nd copy of Wilds.
