TLDR: Would not recommend buying this game at full price (I bought it on sale for 2/3 of the original price). If you truly love the series then you are much better off playing World:Iceborn or Rise:Sunbreak until the master rank expansion. Now for the review (Written as I have beaten AT Arkveld and finished most of my gog artian weapons): ・The pros: + The actions are smooth, focus mode is a great addition to the game + Learning curve felt a lot better compared to World:Iceborn and Rise:Sunbreak + There was an actual story to develop the environment and monsters + The music was great (As always with all monhun music) + Most weapons got buffed so their skill floors are much lower now, allowing newcomers the chance to learn multiple weapons ・The cons: + Split weapons and armor skills/decos + Coming from both World:Iceborn and Rise:Sunbreak, the games felt too easy + Lackluster endgame. Maybe because it was only high rank but I felt that they could have done a bit more for the end game part rather than kept players grinding for artian weapons and charms + Some places still have choppy performance even after all of Capcom's performance patches. The dealbreaker for me was the game continuously crashing on my 6750 XT that I had to buy a 9060 XT 16GB just to play it (No crash and some improved performance after GPU swap) + The grind is very tedious, they could have lessen the RNG on artian weapon bonus roll and gog artian bonus/skill roll by allowing players to re-roll each individual lines but that was not implemented either because of time constraint or resource constraint since they had to deal with the performance issues + The combat felt smooth but lack the impact compared to World (especially on the great sword's TCS). The character's movements sometimes felt too smooth, making the threat and satisfaction of committing and landing a hit on the monster much less satisfying + Charm farming is just a copy paste from Sunbreak without the actual fun part (anomaly investigation) that came with it + The lance is even worse now that all weapons capable of shielding can use perfect guard, maybe even Capcom themselves don't know how to shape its identity anymore

What... did i just play..? There was a lot of "Meows" and wtf
Yeah, goes pretty hard
ich spiele es sehr gerne und diese Welt fastzeniert mich immer wieder aufs neue
Overall a good step in the right direction for the series and introduces some long awaited features like aiming your attacks but I don't think it's as good as Monster Hunter: World. Used to be optimized like garbage but it has gotten better over time. I think a big DLC expansion would do great things for this game.

挺好玩的 就是有一点点难度
