Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Game Director APE-AHAB, in partnership with Jason Walsh (the mastermind behind "Monster Crown") have a truly wild world and mind-bending story in the works for you to experience. Start your journey through the madness of Monster Crown: Sin Eater.
With over a thousand unique, hand-crafted Monster sprites, and hundreds of colors to choose from, you'll find the ace Monster that's right for you! And once you've found your favorites, use Monster Crossbreeding or perform Monster Fusion to reach new heights!
The game's storyline puts you in the shoes of Asur, a young farm boy who has aspired to be a Monster Tamer his whole life, just like his big brother. When his family is put in mortal danger, he must act to set things right, and change the Crown Nation forever.
Be sure to build yourself a powerful team of mighty companions. Turns out, Asur won't have much luck going it alone!

Certain Monsters also transform when exposed to certain elements. Be sure to try strange new items on your favorite Monsters — you never know what's going to happen!

With so many monsters, obtaining them all, their crossbreeds and their transformations (and the transformation's crossbreeds) is quite an undertaking, only serious collectors should attempt this!

Along the way, you'll explore towns packed with interesting characters. Another way Monster Crown: Sin Eater elevates the standard tropes is with branching dialogue and decisions that have a real impact on the game.

You'll travel the world and encounter Monsters roaming the wilds. Each one has a personality; some will flee from you, some will give chase, some — the more sinister Monsters — will stalk you from the shadows.

I really enjoyed this game. The music and visuals speak for themselves, you either like them or you don't. The combat is interesting and I only wish it were a little deeper. The story is edgy, but I don't think overly so. I LOVE the way fusion and breeding are implemented. I would say I prefer this fusion/ breeding system over Pokemon, DQM, or SMT. It is a really top-tier customization system. There's also lots of optional content and post-game content. The overworld abilities are cool, especially riding on monsters. There's a skill that causes damage to enemies while riding on your monster, but never causes them to die. This is very helpful for recruiting and grinding. The game's balance is the only complaint I have. It was pretty balanced early on and in the end game dungeon, but the mid game just sort of feels like it was designed for unimpeded exploration. After the first major boss fight the world opens. When the world opens, all balance is basically gone until the end game. Levels also accumulate fast, which is nice for a creature collecting game, but sort of feels at odds with game balance. I played on the "Give Me a Challenge" difficulty (normal difficulty) and it took less than 20 hours to complete the main campaign of the game. My team were all level 70+ after a short end-game grind. There is post-game content I have not attempted yet, but I will probably do it because this game is very good.

I loved my time with this game. Monster Crown: Sin Eater is an open-world monster-taming RPG with an edge that does not compromise on those core aspects, which on the whole, makes for an extremely gratifying and immersive experience. The open world, if a little small, is GORGEOUS, and is densely packed with opportunities to explore and be rewarded for that exploration. I will always prefer a smaller world with more things to do than a world that's a mile wide and an inch thick. The world is actively built up with lore that offers enough to satisfy, while still having vague elements, or opportunities to imagine. And the soundtrack is simply great, it would fit right in to the growing "video game soundtrack canon" if only more people knew how good it was. The music, characters, and writing in this game are generally working in perfect sync -- this game is not a purely vibes-based writing showcase like e.g. Earthbound, though, which is a good thing. The actual gameplay loop, of exploring dungeons and the overworld, finding strong or cool monsters, and breeding or fusing them together to create over 1,000 different kinds of monsters from around 200 component monsters, is incredibly enjoyable. Most of the time, these fusions are variants of one of the base monsters, which might seem deflating, but the monster design and sprite art is so good that it's worth getting each variant just to see what they end up looking like. I'm sure the minmaxxing spreadsheet people are already having a field day with this game, but what makes this game so good is that you don't NEED to go so deep just to succeed. Most of my monsters were under the recommended level when I finished the game, and I was careful to use the same monsters throughout the adventure, so I could have more of an emotional attachment to them, which is an area that people have criticized this game for -- feeling like the monsters are means to an end and cycling through them to the point that they don't individually matter. To me, these are both ways through which someone can navigate this game, and THAT is what I see as the greatest success of Monster Crown: Sin Eater. Every single person on Earth could play this game and have a different team, composed of different fusions or base monsters, choosing one story path or another, and they all feel like valid and interesting ways to beat the game. That openness, which is its greatest strength, is also the source of its biggest weakness though. The story itself is very interesting -- I don't want to spoil too much, but I found myself very interested in all of it -- but the way the player interacts with it leaves something to be desired. The Four Heavenly Kings, which are built up as The Boss of their respective areas ARE the hardest gameplay obstacle to get to the end, but the Inquisitors naturally get much more of the spotlight, and even then, I wish the game went more into the Inquisitors' backstories or motivations too. I also feel like Asur's character, while it grows from the beginning to the end of the adventure, doesn't grow AS he gets more experience and as the story progresses, because the open world means that he doesn't get as much room to interact with story events differently depending on what has already happened. I don't need Mass Effect style reactivity, but it is one minor detraction. All in all, though, this is an absolutely fantastic game. I don't think this kind of game is for everyone, but it certainly was for me.
Its an okay little game. Certainly better than the first game since i can actually play it lol. The music is Fantastic. Visuals are fantastic in the open world. But in battle, the sprites look a little weird to me. And some monsters arent scaled as if they were made by the same person. So you get this weird inconsistency in sprite quality. And personally, i feel the battles are really easy. Which isnt totally bad on it's own. But it kinda makes it so i had do need to experiment with the fusion and breeding mechanics
A very fun creature collector with a surprising story, can recommend to anyone looking for a good time
Fantastic game. Love the monster taming and a pretty good story even for not knowing where exactly I needed to go for some of it. Definitely worth the price of admission. If I had to critique it, I'd say the moves should be a bit more diverse. Think Pokemon 1st gen- Dragon type only had one move, bug had like 6- each type ends up only having 2-4 usable moves in the late game.
Nostalgico y novedoso
very fun mons game. the breeding & fusion systems give you a ton of customization of your monsters.
Scratches the pokemon itch
Super fun game if you enjoy RPGs where collecting monsters is the main feature. Not only does it have an insane cast of cool, uniquely designed creatures it allows you to breed every single one into a cross breed taking on the type and color scheme of parents allowing for even more customization and collection. My personal favorite part is finding a monster I like then breed it with a whole bunch of high level monsters to create my perfect version of that monster to take on my mission. Exploration is also insanely fun in this game I always feel rewarded for exploring with either loot or new monsters
