There are no tutorials so you'll feel lost on how to solve the puzzles at the beginning. Then when you learn how to play the game, it quickly loses its charm because as you progress, contructing slightly more complex molecules becomes very repetitive very soon. The included soltaire game is totally out of place and there is an achievement where you have to win 100 super boring solitaire games, horrible. Overall, 4/10.

Very skippable as far as Zachtronics games go. The mechanics are fine, but mostly feel like a remix of Opus Magnum. The story is extremely minimal, there's no interesting worldbuilding hidden in the UI or the puzzles, there's no wild new mechanics introduced at the midpoint that change the way you approach puzzles. The use of real molecules for the puzzles is neat, but it does feel like it limits the puzzle design and makes some puzzles more tedious. Overall, the puzzles are still solid and eventually get very challenging, and the solitaire minigame is decent, but Molek-Synetz made me realize that I want a little bit more from a puzzle game.

fun game, but if you don't remember high school chemistry you're not going to understand it. I'm not sure if its worth the full 10 dollar price tag, but for the price i got it at (it was on sale for 5 dollars) its 100% worth it.
