About
Command the most advanced nuclear-powered submarines in the world. Modern Naval Warfare is the ultimate tactical simulation, offering unparalleled depth in graphics, physics, and authentic combat systems. From the pressure-crushed depths of the ocean to the high-stakes politics of the South China Sea, every bolt, frequency, and sonar ping is simulated with uncompromising detail.

Unrivaled Visual & Atmospheric Fidelity Experience a world built on real-world GIS data. The simulation's physically-based rendering (PBR) and world lighting create a breathtaking environment, from the curvature of the Earth at high altitudes to the shimmering caustics and reflections on the ocean surface.
Volumetric Clouds & Dynamic Weather: Navigate through GIS-assisted weather conditions and a multi-layered spectral wave system.
Authentic Interiors: Explore accurate 3D representations of the Virginia class (Blocks I-IV) CIC with fully clickable, feature-complete control stations.
Living World: Engage with digital twins of modern military and civilian platforms, including dynamic civilian traffic assisted by GIS-AIS data.
Advanced Acoustic & Physics Simulation In the silent service, sound is your only sight. Our 3D sound propagation model calculates transients, flow noise, and individual component sounds (engines, pumps, propellers) in real-time.
Real-time Signal Analysis: Utilize FFT analysis for Narrowband, LOFAR, and DEMON applications, modulated by specific sonar array characteristics.
Physical Realism: Every object follows real-time hydrodynamic and hydrostatic calculations. Weapons movement, explosions, and even material reactions to underwater pressure are physics-based.
Damage Control: Face hi-fidelity damage modeling and volumetric flooding based on true shipbuilding concepts like permeability.
Sophisticated Systems & Weaponry Take control of a wide spectrum of military-standard sensors, including RADAR, SONAR, and EO/IR.
Electronic Warfare: Experience RF signal propagation affected by wavelength, line-of-sight, and antenna configuration.
Lethal Arsenal: Deploy torpedoes, multi-stage missiles (with individual stage envelopes), and mines.
Countermeasures: Defend your boat with noisemakers, sonar decoys, chaff, and flares.
Navigation: Use INS, GPS/GNSS, Tercom, and DSMAC for precision strikes.

Step into the role of various crew members with native-language station interfaces:
Pilot Station: Control depth, speed, course, trimming, and masts.
SONAR Station: Manage Broadband, Narrowband, Active Intercept, and Tactical Decision Aid.
Fire Control: Utilize advanced TMA (Target Motion Analysis) with interactive rulers and mission planners for Harpoon and TLAM missiles.
ESM & RADAR: Intercept threats and monitor AIS signals to maintain situational awareness.

Whether you are a lone wolf or part of a strike group, the world is your battlespace.
The Technothriller Campaign: A massive 18-mission campaign set in the South China Sea.
Diverse Operations: Engage in Anti-Submarine Warfare (ASW), convoy hunts, special forces insertion, and espionage.
Training & Editor: Learn the ropes with a 3-mission training sequence or create your own challenges with the built-in quick mission editor.

its a great idea for this game. but its just a game. i try since round about ten days to strike a ship by torps in the second mission in gameplay . the transporter. no chance . the sonar says 6 miles away . no vision contact on the periscope. very sad for this great simulation
Overall, this title brings something new to the simulation world. The accurate recreation of the Virginia Class Submarine with its various generations is remarkable. I haven’t found a source that contains anywhere near the wealth of information presented in this simulation. It is a steep learning curve but with effort and motivation, the game can be mastered. It is a study level simulation and the developers made that clear. I’ve always wanted to serve on a Submarine but life didn’t take that course for me. This game gives me the closest thing to that experience and I appreciate that. This is Early Access, so some issues and bugs need to be squashed but overall, this is well on its way to being a classic.

"Modern Naval Warfare is a high-fidelity professional simulation first, and a commercial game second", from the Devs!! This is NOT for casual gamers. This is a highly detailed, in-depth simulation of modern operations for a nuclear powered submarine. Worth every penny!! If you want a game...look elsewhere
Need to wait some time to enjoy this sim. There is a huge performance problem and memory leaks. For me playing one of best modern Virginia class SSN and be forced to classify every contact via optronic mast is a joke. In short, if any potential sub player think that this is a new modern DW type of game, then You are wrong. Time is needed for this title, maybe and preferably mods.
This is the absolutely best unplayable game I own. Please tell me when its ready.
This game has the potential to be great, and I hope it gets there soon, but in its current state it is kind of a nightmare. Lack of documentation, gameplay issues, the absurd length of some scenarios, and the optimization is not where it needs to be to properly enjoy this game. What this game presents is limitless opportunities, so as long as the bugs get worked out, I will recommend this game to everyone I can.

If your are a hard core sub sim type, then this title is for you. I am a submarine sonarman veteran who served aboard two U.S. 688 class submarine and this game brings me back to the those days of deployment in the sonar shack.
GOOD: - If set correctly - the game looks decent. Putting the deactivate realtime screen render if not used aside, all menus got that look and feel of a sub running on win95 - The game got huge potential for gamers that want to read a manual first or spend like 20h to randomly try things out. BAD: - Sadly the game is full of bugs and some features are not implemented yet. e.g.: NAV-Computer might hang/not work; map and mission description do not match; fired torpedos might randomly divert 90deg because some hidden numbers are not set correct after repetitive launch; using the command a crewmate way of interating with the ship - controls, settings, information might bug like my ship once dove nearly straight down ... - Without using time-compression the performance is fine depending on the settings. Comparing this game to similar ones like UBOAT there are major problems with time-compression. While having round about 120FPS on 1x-time, those drop down to 10ishFPS on 6x-time. (With compression menu going over 10x ...) It can be fun but currently those bugs make it hard to "learn" the game because you dont know if you did something wrong vs some menu bugged and unwanted behaviour is introduced ... My best example is: I did a quick match 1:1 and tried to hit a carrier with torpedos. I repeated the firing process over 10...15 times on different tubes and for some reason at some point my torpedos strangly diverted after like 2sec of traveling, rendering it useless ...
No creo que este para venderse y menos a ese precio.
