This a clever little exploration based puzzler. You play as a creature that looks something like a lemming - and like the lemmings from the game, it plods along regardless of pits or other hazards. So your challenge is to block it, or give it limited commands (on cooldowns), while mining away hazards that it must pass. The game is played as a series of expeditions, each with a new, progressively deeper and more complex map, and a goal, like freeing a number of your lemming friends. Expeditions are pretty quick to run, but it's not frantic; you can generally take some time to look forward on the map and plan a good route down. So far my little guy has no ability to attack the other creatures that infest the maps, but many of the hazards can be turned against the creatures. I also have no ability (so far?) to climb up, so the map clearing is a one way trip down. Because of the seemingly random nature of the maps, I've been stuck a few times and couldn't complete the map goals, but that's not the end of the world; a small hit to resources or prestige.
Game looks like it might actually be fun. But one of the WORST UX/UI I've ever seen. Guys, come on. Play test. Add tooltips, icons, and english wording to the actual main menu and game functions. If you're wondering if you did it right, have some random people who haven't played your game, try to figure out a set of common tasks without instruction and observe them without helping.
This game has pretty and interesting graphics and a fun enough idea, simply destroy/build walls and floors in order to help the Minaur find his friends among the underground mess. Problem is that the game is just a confusing mess with every menu and piece of UI being utterly incomprehensible thanks to some messy translation but also heaps of picture buttons, random meaningless rewards and multiple currencies and in-game meters. Its a shame really as underneath all that clutter and nonsense is a game that may be worth playing. Sadly the menus and UI make this an impossibility.
Quite the trickky little game. At 1st one thinks, oh a little casual puzzle-ish game. Only to find out quickly it's not only quite difficult but quite complicated and deep. If one wasn't prepared to use a fair amount of brain power you'll quickly exit and try again later when you can think more clearly and prepare ones self for something a bit more difficult and complex than you expected. I've seen complaints about "not knowing what to do". One has to stop often at the beginning and go back to the knowledge base as you gain new info which happens often and READ about what you've learned. The graphics are very nice in asthetics and cute overall. It turns out as you get fiurther it's not so much a puzzle game after all as there are a great many other features, including crafting. leveling, skill trees and settlement building (Didn't expect that). I admit I had to exit 30 mins into it when I realized "oh well, this is a lot more than I expected and I can't think complex right now"..LMAO. I did find myself liking it a great deal and wanting to learn the nuances of this game for the furture fun it seemed to have in store., and it does. I had no tech issues, and though complicated, it seems easy enough to pick up but quite difficult, powerfully so, to master. It's kind of obscure right now, needs more advertising ( A card set would help that a great deal if they get around to taking the time to add one). I highly recommend the game to anyone into deceptively complex games with minor puzzle like qualities, but in reality a great deal more. For the price it's an amazing deal.
Warning! Game have only one HUGE minus: it is absolutle not user-friendly becase of a lot of infographics and awful interface. Pluses: * random-genetated levels; * interesting level-design and tasks; * roleplay system with buffs and debuffs; * adventures; * depth of gameplay and a lot of little things.
