Millennium 2 – Take Me Higher, developed and published by Aldorlea Games, continues Marine’s journey with a clearer sense of direction and a noticeable step up in refinement compared to the first entry. As the second chapter in a larger saga, it doesn’t attempt to overhaul the formula but instead focuses on expanding the world, improving pacing, and adding more structure to both exploration and storytelling. The result is a game that feels more confident in its design, even if it still carries many of the limitations associated with its RPG Maker foundation. The gameplay remains rooted in classic turn-based RPG mechanics. Players travel through towns, venture into dungeons, and engage in battles that rely on standard systems such as physical attacks, magic abilities, and equipment upgrades. The mechanics are easy to grasp and remain consistent throughout the experience, making the game accessible to players who enjoy straightforward, traditional RPGs. However, this simplicity also means that combat doesn’t evolve much over time. Encounters tend to follow familiar patterns, and while character progression provides a sense of growth, it doesn’t introduce enough variation to keep battles feeling fresh in the long run. Where the game shows the most improvement is in its overall flow. Exploration feels more streamlined, with environments that are easier to navigate and better structured than in the first installment. The balance between guidance and discovery is more carefully handled, allowing players to progress without constantly feeling lost. At the same time, the game retains a strong emphasis on hidden content. Secret rooms, optional rewards, and side paths are scattered throughout the world, encouraging players to explore thoroughly. While this adds depth and replay value, some of these secrets are extremely well concealed, which can lead to moments of frustration when important items or upgrades are missed. The narrative continues to build on the foundation established in the first game, focusing on Marine’s mission to gather allies and challenge the forces that control her world. The story expands the setting and introduces new characters, giving the adventure a broader scope. There are moments where the writing becomes more engaging, particularly in character interactions and smaller story beats that add personality to the cast. However, the overall storytelling still feels uneven. Some characters are more developed than others, and while the plot moves forward, it doesn’t always maintain a consistent emotional impact. Dialogue can occasionally feel simplistic, which limits the depth of certain scenes. One of the game’s strengths lies in the amount of content it offers. There are numerous side quests, optional battles, and hidden challenges that provide additional layers beyond the main story. These elements help make the world feel more alive and give players the freedom to engage with the game at their own pace. The inclusion of difficulty options and features like visible or invisible enemy encounters adds a degree of customization, allowing players to tailor the experience to their preferences. This flexibility is a welcome addition and helps broaden the game’s appeal. Visually, Millennium 2 maintains a retro-inspired aesthetic, with colorful pixel-art environments and character portraits that give the cast a bit more personality. While the graphics are not particularly detailed by modern standards, they are consistent and fit the tone of the game well. The environments show more variety than before, helping to make exploration feel less repetitive. The soundtrack complements the experience with a mix of atmospheric and melodic tracks that support the game’s mood, even if they don’t stand out as particularly memorable on their own. Despite these improvements, the game still has its shortcomings. The reliance on hidden content can disrupt pacing, especially when progression or important rewards depend on finding obscure locations. Combat, while functional, remains one of the weaker aspects due to its lack of depth and variety. These issues don’t overshadow the overall experience, but they do prevent the game from reaching a higher level of polish. In the end, Millennium 2 – Take Me Higher is a solid continuation that refines the core ideas of its predecessor while expanding its world and content. It offers a more balanced and enjoyable experience, particularly for players already invested in the series, but it still struggles with repetitive gameplay and uneven storytelling. As part of the larger Millennium saga, it serves its role well, laying the groundwork for future entries while providing a satisfying, if not exceptional, RPG experience. Rating: 7/10
This simulator lifts my spirits to the sky! Every mission feels like a parachute jump and rainbow hop combined. I wish I could soar like this in real life more often!
Millennium 2 - Take Me Higher Aldorlea Games'in amiral gemisi RPG serisinin ikinci bölümüdür ve Millennium - A New Hope'un doğrudan devamı niteliğindedir.

Overview: a low quality RPG time burner, second part seem to have more visible improvements over 1st.
Overall I had fun playing through this game, minus the game closing itself (which is why it unfortunately gets a thumbs down due to just how frequently it crashed on me - seemingly every 30 minutes to an hour). The game would just freeze up, a box saying "Script is hanging." would pop up, then all I could do is click okay and the game would close out. I had to save after what felt like either every battle or each time going to a new area not knowing when it would happen again. The storyline was fine. Just like in Millennium: A New Hope, you are able to select a difficulty, have multiple save files, choose to have (or not have) guiding arrows, and if you want to see overworld encounters or not. There were some improvements in regards compared to the first installment of Millennium: -While there are still items that are grayed out once equipped (and unable to unequip without an exorcism), you are able to remove them very early on in the game. -Was able to import the file from the first Millennium game without issue; money and items transferred over, but any character that was leveled over 20 was dropped down to level 20. -While money is still sparse, more enemies drop it than in the first installment. Also the ability to purchase items is vastly improved. (You can purchase a reviving item, SP/healing items very early in the game.) -Characters did not join you at level 1; they joined at a level around what the rest of the party was already at.
love the adventure and story
crap rpg maker game.
