This game is insanely mediocre, it's a fine Mega Man clone but it has heaps of problems and is definitely not worth $5. The 3 playable characters are very similar but each have their own unique moves that contribute nothing to gameplay besides making certain bosses and areas impossible. Gunvolt is the most fun one here and he is incredibly basic, he has a very short jump that can turn into a double jump, and he has a cool charge attack that takes forever to use and stops if you get hit making it essentially worthless. Beck controls very similarly to Mega Man from MM4 and onward except his charge attack is a dash here that is terrible, you can't attack any enemies with it and it's useless against bosses, you CAN use it in fights obviously, it's intended to be used as an attack only, but for some reason you don't get any invincibility while doing it, it only lasts for like I'd guess 30 milliseconds or so, so there's absolutely no reason for it to still take damage, especially when it's range is garbage and FORCES you to get near enemies to use it. The main game is very short and ends with a Zonda boss fight which is nice considering he gets shafted for Copen in GV1, here Copen is the one getting the spotlight stolen from him. But all of the bosses in the main stages are incredibly easy and not too fun, Zonda is easily the best in the game but he still isn't really anything special. There are a set of warp stages that you can access below the first stage on the stage select screen, and these are a few levels based on Mighty No. 9, and shocker, they're somehow even worse than the actual Mighty No. 9 stages, especially the bosses in them. All of the bosses in the warp stages are ungodly difficult for no reason, well I don't even think difficult is the right word, they're just ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ to be honest. They're all completely unreadable, insanely fast for no reason, much faster than any of the characters you play as, and seeing as GV has a double jump he's basically the only character that can even clear these bosses, and they all do way too much damage. They'd be alot easier if they just had a few extra sprites to indicate the attack they're going to do, but they don't you just have to deal with it, besides the warp stages this is a fine Mega-Like that's about 20 minutes long without deaths and about 40 minutes with them. If you're a physics nut like me and can't stand Mega-Likes that have physics that are wayyyyy off from the actual Classic MM games, than this probably isn't for you, every character feels very light and floaty and the hit stun is pretty awful as well, you frequently get knocked into things with no room to react or put in any inputs. Overall, it's a 5/10, the music is great and so is the spritework, but the sequel Mighty/Gal Gunvolt Burst is much much better, that's a great Classic Mega Man clone.
Any game that references galgun is an auto 10/10 for me.

EN: If you love Mega Man games like I do, this is a bite-sized game that’s worth playing. -Stays faithful to the classic Mega Man gameplay. -Offers 3 playable characters. You can double jump with Gunvolt, temporarily float in the air with Ekoro, and dash to slide with Beck. Each character also has their own unique charge attacks. -Features nice graphics that evoke NES nostalgia. -One nice aspect of the level design is that depending on the character you choose, you can access platforms that other characters can’t. For example, only Beck can pass through small and narrow sections thanks to his dash ability. -Controls are generally comfortable and responsive (I don’t know how it feels on keyboard, I played the game with a gamepad). Its core gameplay is sufficient and doesn’t offer a bad experience, but it doesn’t offer much either. -The game is extremely short. Even though replaying it three times with different characters adds some value, it still feels insufficient. The developers must have realized this, as they later added 4 extra stages to the game. -Although the three characters feel different in terms of platforming, they don’t feel different on the action side. This is because the charge attacks of characters other than Gunvolt are not very effective, and all of them take too long to charge. Because of this, you mostly end up playing by firing normally. -Although I mentioned the good side of the level design, most of it is quite standard and not very challenging (even spikes are not very threatening. While in most Mega Man or similar games touching them results in instant death, here you only take damage, making it very forgiving). -No matter which boss you defeat or what you do, you don’t gain new abilities. -The graphics are really nice, but objectively speaking, they don’t feel special because they don’t take any risks. -Mighty Gunvolt is an easy game. There are only two bosses that will truly challenge you, but they don’t enhance the experience; instead, they feel frustrating due to being unfair (Bio Lab and Highway). Since these bosses are not part of the main stages, they don’t cause many issues in normal playthroughs, but you must defeat them if you want to complete all achievements. I won’t go on too long, but even in the first Mega Man game, exploiting enemy weaknesses makes things easier, whereas in Mighty Gunvolt there is no weakness system since you don’t gain new upgrades. Because charge attacks are generally inefficient, it’s safer to just shoot normally. On top of that, bosses behaving randomly makes the experience less enjoyable. In short, if you are a hardcore Mega Man fan, this is a small game worth playing. Its price is also very low; especially on sale, it drops to a level that, like the game itself, feels like a quick snack. On the other hand, if you are not familiar with Mega Man games, this is not a game that will leave any lasting impression. - Klasik Mega Man oynanışına sadık.
It's an overly simplistic and short Megaman-type game that has some very difficult boss fights and easy stages. It's super short, though the extra achievements added a couple hours of game time. There are four "extra" stages that don't count if you are trying to get the endings and the boss fights are brutally painful if you pick the girl who deals very little damage. You don't get extra abilities like in Megaman, and the ending is super abrupt. The music and graphics are great and some levels like a school and gym are inspired, but the game is also short and mostly forgettable.

IntiCreates nunca decepciona.
A cute 8-bit crossover platformer game with Gunvolt, Mighty No.9 and Gal Gun. I would've enjoyed the game, if it weren't for the atrocious invincibility. It feels like they don't exist, with you immediately getting damaged the moment it activates AND wares up. This just soured my experience and I cannot, in good faith recommend this game because of this one glaring issue. I couldn't even beat the extra stage's sister and Brandish bosses, which is weird, because the one before and after them were doable. I still need to get the last achievement for these two, unfortunately A shame, really. I wanted to like this game. Edit: beat the last two boss. Somehow beat the twins on my first try, but Brandish was a pain in the ass. ♥♥♥♥ felt like they didn't even TRIED to make it playeable. Don't play this.
