About
A grizzled private eye in a sci-fi adventure takes a murder case no one else will touch. He’s seen it all before, but nothing’s prepared him for a conspiracy that leads off-world. Something big is about to happen. Whatever it is... it goes live at midnight.
The top lawyer of showbiz is shot dead, and that’s where private eye Simm Gurnett steps in. Something’s rancid big time, so much so that even the police won’t touch the case. And for good reason: the killer is rumored to be not of this world.

Charming game with great voice acting, the vibe is cool, and it gets weirder than it might seem from first looking at it. I particularly loved the lake where you keep throwing things at the crocodiles to annoy them and make them throw up things, I was kinda sad when I ran out of alligators to throw things at. The puzzles were neat and not too hand-holdy, got stuck plenty outside of puzzles but nothing to crazy. The only negative I'd say, is that the game might feel a bit short for the price, but I think that might be more of a "other games are too cheap" issue, rather than this being expensive! It might also be too short in order to really get into caring about the killer/murder. Video covering some of the game @ ~21 mins in: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lvm_B4bbGs8
I backed the crowdfunder for this as I love all previous Cosmic Void games, and this continues their quality selection. Midnight Saturn is a cyberpunk detective story, investigate a girl's disappearance by talking to characters and finding clues. It's a small map and not too many objects, so you can brute force if you're stuck. Most objects disappear after being used once. Great visuals, like the rest of the Cosmic Void series, and fully voice acted thanks to the crowdfunder. Highly recommended, just like the rest of the CV catalogue.

Cool game. (Very) Cool music. Cool pixel-art. Cool voice-overs. a WTF scenario looking like a mushroom trip like everything this developer makes. Good job !! Where do you come with such ideas ? One only regret was you could not speak to the butterfly, man GO ALL IN NEXT TIME. Speaking with gemini could have been a hellovu trip, my only regret. Damn i wish Gemini could talk...9.5/10 because gemini did not steal the show.
I enjoyed this game mostly because of the art, story, and characters. It did have an old school point-and-click vibe to it which I love. Yes, perhaps there could have been a wider range of puzzles, however, I liked playing through the story (which was well thought out) and loved the art and music. Would I play a longer game by the same team - 100%. The storyline & world building was pretty good. I've also enjoyed Devil's Hideout by the same solo indiedev. It's not easy making a game from scratch so congrats! Looking forward to other games.
"Another one" from Cosmic Void. A classic pixel art point and click "detective" adventure game. I always have fun playing Cosmic Voids games. There are a couple head-scratcher puzzles; No moon logic puzzles- that you can solve if you really think about them. Don't let that discourage you from enjoying the game though. If you're frustrated and can't figure one out, there's a full walk-through available to view on the store page. Find the solution to the puzzle you're stuck on, and continue to enjoy the rest of the story. Thumbs up.
Another interesting retro-style point and click from Cosmic Void. Feels like wandering around a classic New Wave SF story. A little on the short side for a veteran adventurer but good mix of MacGuyver solutions and more traditional puzzle puzzles.
I really loved this this game and its' predecessor - Neon Heats City. I love the lore and world building and find there's a lot of unique and creative plot and story elements in these games. While it's sci-fi, there's also a spiritual angle to these games. I wouldn't mind a trilogy. Cosmic Void always delivers, especially with art. The scrolling backgrounds on the rooftop and by the lake especially as you character walks through the screen is just so beautiful. The puzzles are well thought out - the story is strong, the characters are interesting and the voice acting is phenomenal. Highly recommended.
Just a beautiful point and click adventure with an original story, beautiful art and music and FANTASTIC dialogue and writing. Had a lot of fun.
Another solid Cosmic Void adventure. I didn't enjoy it as much as Neon Hearts City, but it's certainly among their best so far. If you enjoy point and click adventures, you'll enjoy this one as well. I look forward to seeing their work improve even more as time goes by.
Another cute and short Cosmic Void gem.
