My review of this game is a little complicated. Is it an expanded/better version of the first game's mechanics? Yes. Does it purposefully waste the player's time through repetition in order to get them to waste money on microtransactions in order to progress through the game faster? Also yes. So why is my review still positive? It's because I don't see that repetition as a bad thing. I don't see the time as wasted or playing the game as a chore; after all, playing through the game just to get to the end gets you nothing but a lackluster story to begin with. I absolutely love the gameplay loop here, and so I don't see a need to buy any microtransactions to begin with. While they'll speed things up, if you love the gameplay loop for what it is, there's really no need to buy into this purposeful monetization to begin with. So, if you liked the gameplay loop of the original and grand strategy as much as I do, you'll love this game. If you want to play it just so you can get to the end, then it's probably not the game for you.

Amazing game, nemesis system spot on, ahead of the games around its time. shape stories of the Urak Hai or Ologs. Fully recommend if you like the combat style of Arkham, or if you generally like LOTR games or if you like to make stories or whatever ect ect. I've enjoyed it and I rate it 7/10!

그냥 포켓몬 같은 느낌임 돈으로 강하게 만들거나 힘으로 약하게 만들거나 그냥 정말 재미있음. 초반에 언제부터 오크 연애 시뮬레이션할 수 있는지 궁금한데 아마 2막부터 가능할 겁니다. 개추입니다.

Ein herausragendes Spiel. Es stimmt mich traurig, dass es keinen Nachfolger mit dem Nemesis-System geben wird.

Great combat. Enemy captains can be a good challenge when their perks overlap. Nemesis system makes everything about the game better :) Highly recommend.
