Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
No United States chart position — it charts only in the markets below.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 11.43/day in the week to Aug 27 → 20/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Poland over the last 30 days: the 21 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 12 places towards #1, and the 2,501 moves with no price cut behind them went 1 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

so good
One of the first big title video games I ever played, will forever hold a special place in my heart. Seriously though, this is fun. If you like Batman Arkham-style combat and want a sick Nemesis system, you gotta grab this on a sale. Story was also suprisingly solid. Become what they fear the most. Be the one they're scared of.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 10: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

fun
c e loko...
Awesome story and action packed game play.
★★★★☆

✦ 𝟒/𝟓 ✦

The Nemesis System was the real star of this game.
◆ Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor is a really damn good game, and most of that praise goes to its Nemesis System. The idea of having your own personal enemies who remember you, grow stronger, betray each other and come back for revenge was genuinely brilliant. It's one of those mechanics that makes you wonder why more games don't have something similar. Unfortunately, the system was patented, which is a real shame because I'd love to see other games build on the idea. ◆ The combat is another strong point. It's smooth, satisfying and makes you feel increasingly powerful as you unlock more abilities. The game is definitely on the easier side, but honestly, I didn't mind that much. There's something really fun about turning Talion into an absolute killing machine and watching entire groups of enemies fall apart. It's pure power fantasy, and the game knows it. ◆ The biggest problem is that the story never really reaches the same level as the gameplay. It's serviceable, but hardly something I'll remember for years. The final boss fight is also a pretty disappointing way to finish the game, especially considering how much potential the rest of the game has built up. And while the graphics were impressive back in the day, they haven't aged particularly well. ✦ A very fun action game carried by one of the coolest systems ever put into an open-world game. The Nemesis System is the kind of idea that could have become a genre-defining standard, and it's a damn shame that it can't simply be used and improved by everyone.
