This game is pure art. I genuinely love this game. The combat, pacing, and timing are easy to get adjusted to and get a grip of. You can spend countless hours just dueling Uruks. The Nemesis System makes this even greater, considering that every time you get killed, it feels like a genuine personal insult. You feel obligated to go back and kill the ♥♥♥♥♥♥ who struck you down. The skill tree is also very easy to learn, and it's not like the average game where you just forget half of the combos and just continue to button mash. Besides that, the only thing I really dislike about the game is the map itself; it's a bit too open. The parkour elements really remind me of Assassin's Creed, but because the map is so wide open, you lose that cool, seamless climbing flow whenever you're caught in the empty spaces between strongholds.
I can’t believe this game is already 11 years old, it still feels fresh in many ways. I had a great time playing it, even though there were moments when the gameplay loop felt a bit repetitive. What really stood out was how every encounter with an Orc captain or Warchief felt personal and unique, thanks to the Nemesis System. It gave each battle depth and made victories or defeats memorable. The story itself is on the shorter side, but exploring the world and hunting down every artifact and Ithildin was surprisingly rewarding. Collecting these pieces added layers of lore and gave me reasons to keep diving back into Mordor. Between the main campaign and all the side content, there are easily hundreds of hours of gameplay to sink into if you enjoy completionist runs. Overall, Shadow of Mordor is a very enjoyable and fun experience. It combines satisfying combat, a unique enemy system, and rich exploration. Even with its flaws, I’d definitely recommend giving it a try. it’s a game worth experiencing.
A lot of fun, but with a huge room for improvement. Gets quite repetitive by the late game (Story mode), and I'm not sure I'll have the patience to finish the extra content. I have high expectations for the next one, since what this game really needs, aside from some gameplay refinement, is a bigger scale, variety and consistent world dynamics.
tiene una de las mejores modo de juego donde los adversarios pueden ir subiendo su nivel haciendo que la dinamica del juego sea mucho mas versatil e impredecibke
