In all honesty, the game is great, without too many bugs, and the aim assist isn't a real challenge. Your armoured character makes you look like a badass. You can be frustrated by two maps if you don't take the time to farm to level up your arms. And you know what ? It's a great one because I'm the President of this great United States of America.

[i]This is the sort of politics we want to see in modern games.[/i] It's truly a divine miracle that [b]Metal Wolf Chaos[/b] was picked up and re-released outside of its Japan region-locked, console-exclusivity prison where other region-locked gems such as [b]ChainDive[/b], [b]Blood+ One Night Kiss[/b], [b]Captain Rainbow[/b], [b]10,000 Bullets[/b], [b]Front Mission 5: Scars of the War[/b], and even FromSoftware's own [b]Another Century's Episode[/b] and [b]Shadow Tower Abyss[/b] never got the same opportunity. Viral YouTube playthroughs will do that I suppose. I'll skip slow-running it: you are the President of the United States fighting to take his country back with his trusty, heavy-arsenal death mecha of FREEDOM. The game itself plays like a very stiff, arcade-y version of an [b]Armored Core[/b] title, where the goal is to eviscerate all of the opposing forces because you are the President of the United States and by God, is it your due diligence to serve that justice for your country! It's a short game, even by 2004 standards, but the B-Movie charm and explosive spectacle of it absolutely sells it and makes it worth every minute. If you love arcade-y mecha games, this is a must-own. If you love obscure, weird Japanese games, this is a must-own. If you love America, this is a must-own. "Believe in your own justice!"
