Prices
The United States storefront in every case, so this compares stores and not countries.
Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
13 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

Reviews
I am writing this review, because a few too many people seem to hate this game. I don't get it. I've played it, for a little bit of time, and I'm going to continue to because overall it is an enjoyable Metal Gear experience, and in my opinion, a great addition to the series. Most people seem to forget that in this game, you are not, I repeat, you ARE NOT: Liquid, Solid, Liquidus, Solidus, or any variation of SNAKE for that matter. You seem to think that some random guy, who was most likely abducted by some variation of Snake, the Big Boss, should be as powerful as the absolute Unit that you are in every other game. It takes the aspects of MGS Snake Eater, and MGSV the Phantom Pain, in terms of choosing how to manage your base development mixed with a decent amount of having to ration out your items in order to survive and keep yourself fed, watered, geared up, and ready for the hoards. To everyone complaining, that you have to kill the same things over and over again in "Dite". Did you forget that you're in a (I use this next string of words kind of loosely) rendition of Hell itself? The lore you're given and the cinematics provided do a wonderful job of letting you know this. I'm not upset about the "Cut scenes" That are text boxes with "talking" pictures because that's kinda how it was in the first few Metal Gear titles. Hmmm it seams to me that everyone hating on this game is hating on.... everything.... that throughout the years.... has culminated..... in a game where it's roughly all strung together...... Man. Sounds like you guys hate Metal gear to Hate Metal Gear, and you're a lil fanny frazzled that you're just a normal guy and not the Big Boss anymore.

13 on sale2 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 2 “not sold” markets are read from the Steam price pass of Sep 16: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price in those. The 13 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Muy buen juego, ya casi lo acabo, estoy emocionado por saber cuál es el final
(Years later) It's a good game overall, gave it 124 hours back in the day. If you think of it as standalone Metal Gear title and not as a Metal Gear sequel/DLC, you can actually enjoy the game. Raiden's adventures are also great, yet with a completely different gameplay style. It's quite nteresting seeing the MGSV engine being use on a totally different game, with some similarities to the franchise, and with some stuff completely new to the franchise. Some missions are fun, and the DIY base management takes it to another level. It can become a bit repetitive after 100+ hours, I must admit, but this game does not certaintly deserve the hate avalanche brought upon it.
game of the year every year
Still play it
I got over the parents divorce, while i still ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ hate Konami this game was not as bad as everyone thought it was, it was just growing pains, that doesnt mean its the greatest game ever, its not its pretty mid but its a fun game to play if you want more MGSV gameplay
It's a survival game with Metal Gear flavor. It's not the co op game I was made to believe all those years ago, at least not without mods it seems, but it's got a lot of good parts to it. The survival stuff is fun. Easy to manage, not as annoying as some of the reviews would leave you to believe. Clean food and water is given to you super early on and it's not like it's low on supply by like chapter 5. It's an extraction game first and foremost, you go into bad places, grab supplies and come back. Pretty basic, pretty fun. The co op missions are probably necessary to level up later on, but I'm finding it alright to level up without having spent any real world money or anything. Yes it's got mobile gaming bullcrap mechanics and stuff but overall i really think the game is fun. Were it truly an online co op game I think the game would have Survived. Edit: I've finished the game since I posted this. The stuff locked behind Post Game takes a bit too long to get, imo, but altogether I had a great time playing the game. Some moments felt like bullcrap, but you take the good with the bad. I will also admit I spent enough for a 7 Day bonus, which definitely helped my enjoyment I think, as I don't always have a friend who's exactly willing to play. TLDR; Mostly fun game, despite the flaws.
It's a little slow to start, but becomes a fun little zombie defense game. Best played in co-op, which still has a community.
Good game
The Best Metal Gear? Nah, but its fun and the online community is pretty cool. The story is just a stupid as the other games. It was indeed more Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain.
