Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.

Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.

The zombies, at least, the only variant I've seen, pose no threat whatsoever. They can't hit you even when walking at a brisk pace or even a mildly elevated item. The dodge upgrade lets you easily solo a crowd of them since they're slow and dumb as hell, there's a counter upgrade too but it's harder to time and does almost nothing. When I see a horde of zombies other zombie games, I think "Man, this is scary because I'd die if I make one wrong move" but in this game, the zombies often just hang back, slowly stumble around and slowly attack one by one rather than swarming you. Once you're done with that, have fun holding the R key to painstakingly loot every last zombie you killed (with the exception of "events" it seems) so you actually gain XP. Another thing I freaking HATE is the robotic voices, like yeah, they're robots, I get that but holy sh*t it's so grating to listen to and almost 70% of the game dialogue is delivered this way. The hunger and thirst mechanic feels more like an annoyance than anything, food and water not all that scarce and you don't really need to prepare all that much because the combat is already easy. The progression seems rather slow since I only got a crappy machete, spear, pistol and bow for the short time I've played and there's some paid booster "time-saver" garbage you can get for this singleplayer game that you've paid for. I think the best way to describe this game is that it's a dopamine game, like a mobile game. The zombies are easy enough to kill with a satisfying visual and sound effect and you press R to loot everything not nailed down without thinking about any of it because of the fairly generous weight system, there's no emphasis on stealth and no inventory management. If it's anything like MGS:TPP, there's a way to get "free paid currency" like a mobile game where you log in every weekend for very, very little amounts just so they can keep you playing late game. I guess if you're one of those people that like those mindless mobile games, which I know there are more people that I'd like to admit, you'll probably like this game.

13 on sale2 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 2 “not sold” markets are read from the Steam price pass of Sep 16: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price in those. The 13 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,420 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Doesn't deserve all the hate in the slightest. I can understand why it's not praised due to the untimely departure of Kojima and the drama that surrounded that, but it'd be a shame to write off the development team's efforts because of that, and because of that I gave this game a go. It's actually really fun and has great gameplay (thanks to the Fox engine of course!) It expands mechanic-wise on quite a bit of MGS5. The survival system from MGS3 is back and it feels great to see it again. Go in with an open mind and see what you think for yourself. I do not regret my purchase in the slightest (although the Steam price could be cheaper! Thanks G2A.)

its fun tbh wish story had coop
Never had issues. Metal Gear in name only with some of the mechanics. I enjoyed it. Definitely get on sale.
If I could label this review as a "Neutral" review I would. Its NOT BAD, but its NOT GOOD either Vergil has a voiceline for EVERYTHING. Run low on stamina while sprinting? Voiceline every time. Low Oxygen? Voiceline. Approaching a weight limit? GOSH DANG VOICELINE EVERY SINGLE MOTHER HECKING TIME Lose a base defense? Guess you gotta build it all back from scratch. Had animals? Go find and capture them again. Sucks to suck if theyre rare spawns. Speaking of building stuff, resources on the map don't respawn very fast. You have to wait IRL DAYS for them to, and even then they STILL might not be there. The story is possibly one of the worst in any game I've ever played. The ending, specifically, just made me feel like the devs wrote this awesome setpiece, passed it to the editors, and were informed that they overlooked SEVERAL obvious flaws with the setpiece. To which they just wrote in a deus ex machina and called it a day. SO, AFTER ALL THAT BAD, WHATS GOOD ABOUT THIS GAME? Well, its a pretty decent stealth game, actually kinda fun with friends (the online playerbase is non-existent unless you join the Discord), and pretty tactical. From a purely gameplay standpoint, the game is actually pretty good. ALL IN ALL, TERRIBLE MECHANICS, TERRIBLE STORY, FUN TACTICAL GAMEPLAY
Awesome game, very challenging at first, cool story and characters , fun combat an stalth, coop modes are fun and well done
if you forget is a metal gear game its like playing the walking dead
Although the lifespan and popularity of this game is dead in the mainstream of Konami games I have by far enjoyed my time with this game. Although the game was doomed to fail when Kojima left and that controversy started I think the devs created the bones of an amazing game that isn't overtly tied to the other games. But that's the thing...it's just the bones with a little bit of meat. I with almost no prior knowledge about the metal gear games besides Ground Zero and The Phantom Pain understood everything this game laid out at face value. Something which I've heard is rare in other Metal Gear titles. (Don't quote me on this though.) It is in it's core a wave defense game no doubt yet it also manages to be a superb survival game as well. For survival you must focus on these things. - Hunger - Thirst - Injuries - Oxygen (When exploring the fog) All of these mechanics provide a challenge to the player but not in a way that makes it a slog or hinderance to keep up with. The campaign itself is very good yet not as impressive as other games. Have you ever wanted to BE the protagonist in a metal gear game? Not Snake or Raiden but YOU? Have you wanted to be injected (almost) seamlessly into the events of The Phantom Pain? Then this game does that! ...at the start. Later on in the game you are basically removed from those events and instead thrust into the world of Dite. I for one didn't mind this at all but others we're hoping for a more connected tie in to the other games. You learn you must scavenge, build, explore, and survive this new world. - The story is great! ...but could be improved on. - The characters are amazing! ...until you beat the campaign. Then they become set dressing. - Base creation and defense is great! ...until you get to endgame. Endgame is a slog of getting resources to improve your crew at base. I have all of the resources to gather common resources at my base that the game gives you during the campaign. Food generators like farms, Water resources like rain barrels and water purification systems, and medical plant farms yet besides medical supplies my base can barely function constantly running out of food and water. Why? because of your crew. You need to upgrade them/gather more but the way to do so is very convoluted and requires a ton of multiplayer grinding which is dead. (Unless you join their discord. An amazing community of players keep this game alive MP wise.) What I'm basically getting onto in this rant is that this game is amazing yet everything it gives is barebones. Story, characters, gear, mechanics, exploration is all fun in it's own right but lacking in depth especially after endgame. There is a massive part of me that wished Konami stuck with this game and added more to it besides the occasional event. (Which have been running in a non-ending loop of previous events for a long time.) If they had developed/added onto the story, characters, mechanics, and exploration of this game I'd be even more addicted than I already am! Character Customization is also very great and honestly something I love. Your character is customized face wise like those in the multiplayer of The Phantom Pain. It's the exact same system but the gear you acquire is what's great. You can acquire - Head gear - Torso gear - Arm gear - Leg Gear and an optional - Head cosmetic - Outfit cosmetic (These override the appearance of your other gear.) All pieces of clothes and armor from The Phantom Pain can be mixed and swapped to your hearts content. (As long as your not a stat nerd like I am.) Like borderlands gear comes in a range of rarities ranging from white, green, blue, purple, and orange. Strength is weak to strong in that order. Weapons are great and the melee system is something not present in most other Metal Gear games. I'll stop ranting but seriously if you ever buy this game and ignore the universal (and undeserved) hate for the game there's a 90% chance you won't be disappointed. I have barely scratched the surface talking about this game but it's clear I have a lot to say about it. It's short, sweet, and could have been so much more but with what we have it's still a great experience.
