Modeled estimate, not a reported figure. How we estimate →
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

greatest story in gaming, fun gameplay, masterful level design and the BEST plot twist in gaming. 10/10 classic for a reason.
I think I'll avoid spoilers for this one since it is such a great story that everyone deserves to experience it for the first time blindly. On other side, it's an extremely solid (pun intended)game which improves everything that first game does. The stealth in this game is improved upon way more with stuff like First-person aiming, non-fatal kills and whatnot. I think non-fatal kills are the biggest. I think the biggest win for this game is how it improves upon enemy behaviour. Enemies now react even fiercer to knocks. They started to have comm system, so being detected means you're ♥♥♥♥♥♥ essentially. Not just that, after every detection, security tightens which means that there are now actual consequences for failing and you can't just change room to avoid detection or some stuff. As a matter of fact, enemies react to your shadows too. Game feels far more smoother to play, though I had issues with slow motion in some section which made it a bit of the pain. Being able to dodge roll and also hang was also fun stuff. Bosses also had far more unique traits which made the game fun. I loved this game and it is definitely one of my favourite games of all time. The game also had disguise system (wearing enemy disguise even after said story section results in slower detection). I think many people were harsh to this game because of change in protag otherwise this would've been flagged as the best MGS game. Though, I'll point it out that the bosses are fun and game over screen acting as a stat screen is a huge bonus. Absolute cinema of the game. Though I didn't like the escort section in the game or how janky swimming felt. Now, it's time to hop on MGS3.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 31: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

The game is alrighty, Snake > Raiden
one of the greatest games oat i 100% recommend this game if you played mgs1
Life isn't just about passing on your genes
Understandably one of the all time greats and for good reason. I couldn't imagine going from the visuals of 1 to the amazing style and visuals of this game in 2001 and the style in general holds up amazingly. Topped off with awesome music and some of the best voice work I've heard in a while (especially Snake for his speech at the end and Fatman) as well as a story that's both simultaneously confusing and layered while also wrapped up nicely by the end and I can see why it's a fan favourite of the series. Raiden is also super cool, no clue why people disliked him in 2001 when he's equally as compelling and interesting as Snake while also having his own arc that meshes nicely with the games' themes. TL;DR, Laugh and grow fat!
