Well, it's a disappointment. The premise is good, but the execution lacks substance, and it's too superficial to make you really engaged in the story. I just couldn't make myself care about any of it, except maybe for Hawkins, but the romance was very lackluster.
found out so you don't have to you can do gay romance. it's a short game but it's neat and cheap it's pretty cool
I've been playing this game since it came out in 2014 on phones. It's very simple, but in a charming way, and will sure give a nice chuckle or two to my fellow mecha fans.
its good
Fun, captivating setting and interesting accomplishments so far, I like this game.
So let me get this right I have max perception but I can't see the Death Star, let alone powering up? (ENDGAME) This game has someone that did not do any basic research. The enemy sets up an ambush but you can ambush the ambush by having the enemy leave their ambush that has cover for them to walk into a hail of bullets from your ambush. Ambush... take a drink. When you are returning to base you about to be ambushed (take a drink) and after you kill the enemy your commander yells at you for defending yourself in war. (wAiT WhAt???? O_o) After you send away half your team, guess what happens????? >_> AMBUSH!!!!!! (drink) So an enemy Ace ambushes (cough) you. <_< So my perception is maxed out the achievement says so. The game asks in ENDGAME would you like to move here to counter.....an.....enemy.....o_O.....(do you have your drink ready????).....ambush. I say yes. The game says its a good idea so I can deal with whatever happ........... .................... ................... ................... Your fleet died from the Death Star that you couldn't see but could but couldn't but could now. (CYOA my ass) All your ear belong to them. Death Star is charging up again for funzies would you like to retreat or die? Tactical retreat it is!!!!! Game says game over you disgusting deserter. Ummmm..... What??? x_X Okay play through 2 I charge ahead to the Death Star and feel my way inside it to become a daddy. (This is how Mechgodzillas are made people!!!! Open your eyes the governement is lying how mechzillas are made.) Game says middle finger your fleet goes bye bye again. (CYOA my ass part 2) BRO!!!!!! I AMBUSHED IT!!!!! (drink) I turn into Anakin or Luke I'm not sure. I guess Luke since it was the empire that destroyed my right hand. Lady Ace Joker breaks you out the empire because she does not want the war to end because she is an of AGENT of CHAOS. So ENDGAME part 2 we get back to the Death Star with the rest of the rebellion. Commander says she has a plan.... I say wait bro. In another timeline I tactically retreated and was called a deserter but when you all tactically retreated in this timeline everything is fine and you all are not deserters!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!????????????????????????? O_o >_> The plan is to ambush the empire that ambushed you with the Death Star. After the initial ambush Lady Joker Agent of Chaos and I are to ambush the Death Star alone. Since she was the Ace of the empire but no works for us there will no resistance to our ambush the second. Ready??? Break??? (also take a bath in that drink for that plan of plans) No bro hold up. I ain't no deserter bro. Commander where you going? Commander!!! >_> Phase one ambush (drink) the empire fleet is successful. Phase two ambush (drink) the Death Star is successful. Phase two point five Joker hacks the Death Star is successful. Phase three shoot the empire fleet.... Joker ambushes (drink) you and says new plan she blows up the Death Star and does not blow up the empire fleet. "Joker why, you a double agent?" O_o "Not a double but an AGENT OF CHAOS." >_> So I turn Joker into this, X_O, but don't kill her because she completes me. Phase three ambush (you know what to do) empire fleet with Death Star. ~FIN~ I am not joking about any of this (no pun intended) The story was fine at first though tactically dumb then decided it would be cool to have a mecha jump the shark. Forcing players to be a one trick pony negates all the choices since we all know you need high numbers to do anything. (CYOA my ass part 3) What gets me the most is the deserting thing. The game said the your fleet is gone with 6 ships left and the Death Star is about to fire at it again. When a nuke of any size happens the survivors are going to retreat and regroup. If command decided to throw in the towel then okay do that. I never ran from the war. A jet in real life would not dock on their carrier that was badly damaged and about to be nuked.
A short and sweet little love letter to mecha works, particularly those like Gundam.
Really enjoyed the game overall. It had a tight story with plenty of interesting characters and choices. My only complaint is that the story is fairly straightforward and does not deviate depending on your choices but other than that a very good sci-fi mech game/book.
One of the best Choice of games you can find, lot's of replayability and very cool RO, especially a certain rival one. It's a stand alone but i wouldn't mind a sequel in the future, even if the endigs are really good and work as conclusive!
A very nicely written story; if the summary sounds interesting you should give this a go. I personally love how the cast of the story can be slightly custom and that there are saved checkpoints at certain points.
