Bingus: My Beloved

PUTTING THIS IN MY REVIEW AS WELL, JUST IN CASE PEOPLE DO NOT CHECK THE DISCUSSION PAGE. IMPORTANT! PLEASE READ! -- STATEMENT FROM WRITER Hello, all. I'm Roxy, but many know me as Wolfy. I was a writer for Bingus: My Beloved, and I am also Head Admin in the Discord server. I'm making this post in an attempt to make people aware, and to save them a few bucks. THIS GAME IS NO LONGER IN DEVELOPMENT. THIS GAME IS NOT FINISHED, AND AS OF RIGHT NOW, WILL LIKELY NOT BE FINISHED. If you're fine with that, feel free to buy the game anyhow. Keep in mind, however, it is known to be buggy. I am not a coder, I am just a writer, but if anybody has any questions or concerns they may message me, reply to this post, or message me on Discord or Telegram under the username "roxypoxie". PLEASE help me get this post up to the top, if possible. I want people to see this before they buy the game and disappoint themselves. Despite this game releasing back in Nov 18, 2022, the game is unfinished with no early access title or warning saying that this game is not complete. This game was bought for me as a gift from a friend and I'm dishearten to know that there wasn't more as I really was getting invested into the story. Until the game is complete with later chapters, I can't recommend an unfinished game.

I hate to say it, but this game looks like abandonware. The creators' last mention of the game was Valentine's day... of last year. It sucks because the story drew me in and the characters are all so charming. It's a shame that so many people backed this game and three years later, it doesn't look like it's going to be finished. With just two chapters (neither of which have what you'd call an 'ending'), I can't recommend buying it for any price. I'd recommend watching the Game Grumps' playthrough or that of a friend. I'd love to have the creators on stream and see what they've been up to lately, though. If this game is any indicator, I'm sure they've put out some very fun stuff.

Devs abandoned the game, no point in buying it sadly.

This game had lots of potential, but it feels like it's been abandoned. Very disappointing because bingus was introduced with so much possible storyline and background then it ends. leaving us all edged. Maybe in the future if the developers get better at developing they'll return to this game. I feel if not they've missed out on a possible masterpiece. Its such a funny, cute quirky game and I believe we don't have a lot of good ones like that.

unfortunately this game is currently abandoned so no point in buying right now as it's very short and unfinished... bingus is sad

boring, albeit funny visual novel about meme cats. game is held together by ducktape and the achievements are bugged. you have to go out of your way to play the minigames. only buy on heavy sale if interested.

I would LOVE to be able to recommend this game. however in it's current state it is abandoned. It is really cute you just wont get the experience you're looking for.
