Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 36.14/day in the week to Jul 22 → 49.38/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Poland over the last 30 days: the 21 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 12 places towards #1, and the 2,501 moves with no price cut behind them went 1 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Extremely detailed world and sound design, literally will blow you away. Gunplay feels great. The different shells are cool too.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 4: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

I thought the missions with the factions were interesting because they give you a form of progression, but it turns out it all get reset every few weeks, so the loop is all an endless boring grind. You go around the map doing your singular objective (can't go with multiple missions) and loot garbage, those objectives are not very interesting, go there, press E, but they give you a reason even play. You'll have lots of boring fight with ai on the way, and will likely alert players by doing so, which will leave you unprepared for that fight as bots can be a big ammo/heal drain. The audio is pretty bad, it's hard to judge distance and direction from footsteps and such, a lot of sound effect are incomprehensible and sound like generic sci fi stuff, problem is they're supposed to be information. The interface is also not great, menus are a bit confusing, but the real big issue is most of the items look like random sci fi junk so it's hard to distinguish what's what, and gun upgrades/character upgrade are literally unreadable at first glance, you'll have to click on tons of stuff to find out what those things do and decide what to put on yourself, just to lose them soon anyway.
The art style is horrible, too few maps, becomes boring fast, some shells are broken as fk , especially in solo, btw the game is NOT made for solo, weapons would be pretty cool but the art style sucks big time , shooting feels fine because it s Bungie. So, besides weapons, everything else is mid at best .
Marathon was my introduction to extraction shooters, and I can confidently say that it is peak. If you already like the genre and have experience it will provide a unique challenge. One thing I will say is that the game is hard, you will lose, and you will lose HARD. However, Marathon never lets you go completely broke, so you will always be able to hop into your next run and try again and again and again and again till you get it. All in all, Marathon is great please try it its peak gaming

It's niche. It's sweaty. A lot of people hate it because "Bungie bad." Sometimes the sandbox gets comically tweaked to hell. But it's actually a really good game for its genre. The lore is deep and the gunplay is unmatched. Yes, you'll likely die a lot. But the feeling you get when you finally come up makes all of the bad runs feel like a distant memory.
After so many hours put into the game I think I can safely say I really like it a lot. I would like a more varied community of different types of players but even still I enjoy Marathon. You take the good, you take the bad, you take them both and there you have Marathon as made by Bungie.
If you don't like a game that basically makes you work like it's more of your job, especially with hostile players who will always take the opportunity to destroy you, I wouldn't recommend this. Especially not when it can suddenly freeze your computer and force you to wait until self-repair is done.
