The world’s most irreverent co-op action adventure returns! In the next chapter of Magicka, players ascend from the ruins of Aldrheim to experience a Midgård almost wiped free of Wizards after the Wizard Wars, with the few that do remain having either gone mad or extremely hostile toward all others

Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.86/day in the week to Aug 14 → 2.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Requires Paradox account! Campaign took 4 hours to finish, messing around included. I don't find any reason to play it again.
Playing online coop is not possible because you have to log into a Paradox account. The Paradox servers are not reachable so online coop is not possible.

Game seems really fun and unique in a way, but unfortunately it cannot connect to the servers and therefore be played in coop. Wish they kept the support for old titles, especially those where cooperative play is essential.
Like the first game, great initial idea, uniquely satirical narrative, with a deep system of physics-based magic and skill-based cross-player combat interaction. Sadly, between all the bugs associated with even playing Magicka 2 with just a mouse and keyboard, the PC version is highly NOT recommended. Controller support is not much better, Steam Deck play is not supported (though possible with a lot of button remapping) none of which even accounts for the in-game performance issues. These Devs, and whoever else is associated with producing this title (Paradox et al) need a swift kick in the rear-end for being so flippant about ignoring loyal players and fans of this would-be gem who have reported and requested the changes and fixes needed for years. This kind of stuff is a resounding issue at the heart of the gaming industry these days; please don't screw your customers, words to live by in any industry.
It's a chaotic party game who's appeal lasts for about two hours, after which you start meeting enemies that provide some resistance and the whole gimmick falls apart as being unwieldy.
The magic system is really fun to play with and well done, the levels are very simple, but nice, enemies are fun and I do enjoy the game, so I really hesitated to post a negative review. However, there are way too many annoyances: - Paradox account to play online? Why would I need that on a PC?.. - No support for Playstation controllers at all => after messing around with Steam simulation etc. I finally had to abandon the hope for playing local co-op. Which is one of the strong sides of the game if I understood correctly. - Bugs. The character gets stuck. Sometimes the screen gets stuck. The localization is all over the place, starting with captions in the opening cinematic 130% too large to fit on the screen, some dialogs being partially off screen etc. - And the one that really killed it for me - no save system. It simply erases the last game when you start a new one. So I wanted to try my own playthrough and erased the one of my son with several hours in it. This is unacceptable for any game released in the last 30 years, and more so when there was no warning at all ("are you sure to start a new game? all previous progress will be lost" or something like that). Disappointing. The result, I would recommend people to try it out, but still decide to leave a negative review for the clear lack of the QA and simply basic consideration for the player.
