This is the age of steam. This is the time of unprecedented technology development never seen before. This is the era of science, research, and inventions. However, this world has also another side, the side not everyone aware of. But when evil and deception grow in strength, he will appear.

Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 24 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Mad Guy & This Age. A classic steampunk bomberman. Great gameplay, so many levels and a lot of bombs to explode.
Mad Age & This Guy is a handheld (Switch) gaming appliance game, ported to Steam to try scrape a few more bucks out of a bad idea. It's a ripoff of the 1990's Flash game, Sokoban, which you can play for free in a web browser (but these guys want your money for ripping off someone else's game). Gameplay is identical, with a few more gimmicks that don't fundamentally change the fact this is a 1990's Flash tier box pusher. Push boxes around to complete the objectives for each level and wonder why you spent thousands on a gaming rig to play games that could run in Internet Explorer on a 386. From a technical perspective, the game doesn't meet basic minimum requirements that most PC gamers expect as standard. A choice was made to use obsolete, decades old retro pixel "art" as a substitute for contemporary PC graphics. It's unclear if this is due to lack of budget or talent, regardless, the overall visual quality of the game is extremely low as a result. There's no option to change the resolution and no useful graphics tweaks. There's no way to ensure this is running at the native resolution of your display. There's no guarantee this game will look right on any PC as a result of this hamfisted design decision. The controls can't be customised, which will be an annoyance for many, but it can also render the game unplayable for differently-abled gamers, left handed gamers or gamers using AZERTY or other international keyboard layouts. To make matters worse, there's no mouse input, despite this being sold on PC as if it were a PC game. This is unacceptable and somewhat insulting to PC gamers. It's a good demonstration of the poor attitude the developer has towards PC gamers, and this attitude has resulted in yet another defect in this game. Because this is designed for handheld/portable gaming appliances, it carries a number of deliberate design deficiencies. Compromises were made to cater to the low power handheld gaming appliances that the game was designed for. These are unfortunate compromises and limitations that PC gamers shouldn't be forced to accept, but it's evident that PC was a second thought for the mobile game developers. The game is deficient as a result of these choices, and would have been so much better without the handicaps that designing games for low power handhelds forces upon a game. While this might run well on a Steam Deck, we must remember the vast majority of gamers here are gaming on PC. These technical defects push this game below acceptable standards for any modern PC game. The poor quality of this game is reflected by how many people spent time with it. At the time of this review, SteamDB shows the all-time peak player number was only 10 players. This is a remarkably low number, and now, the only player activity occurs once or twice a month, presumably someone loading it up to see what it is then quickly uninstalling it. Considering there's over 120 million gamers on Steam and well over 50,000 games for gamers to choose from, the overwhelming lack of interest in this low quality game is to be expected. Mad Age & This Guy has the cash grab price of around $5 USD, it's not worth it given the defects and shortcomings with the product, especially considering the sheer number of completely free, much higher quality games on Steam. For comparison, the $5 asking price for this game could get you games like "Fallout 4", "Euro Truck Simulator 2" or "This War of Mine". Quality, professionally made games like those are frequently on sale cheaper than this. There's also thousands of free, superior quality games on Steam.

A lot of people are comparing this game to Bomberman, however those of you old enough to have been playing PC games back in the early 1990s may remember a little indie game company called Soleau Software. Soleau published a number of games on the general theme of pushing boxes around to trap monsters, and using explosives to kill monsters and blast through obstacles. Mad Age reminded me very much of playing some of those old Soleau games, and I had a lot of fun with it. I completed all 54 levels and got all of the achievements in about seven hours.
Beautiful game, nice premise of using the Bomberman idea for puzzle with little focus on sokoban puzzles, but the level design is just the worst, feels like stuff was placed in stages at random. No brain challenge at all. Any difficulty this may have comes from the fact that enemies' behavior also seems random and impossible to predict, so you end up having to rely on luck a bit too much. On top of that, your character's movement is super slow. Levels are really short (I think there should be 54 of them), still I was bored by the end of level 3 and couldn't bring myself to move forward after beating level 6. All in all, the experience is very bland and the fun factor just isn't there.

💣🎩 Mad Age & This Guy to urocza, mała gra logiczno-zręcznościowa z widokiem z góry, która przypomina list miłosny do klasycznego Bombermana z domieszką pchania skrzyń w Sokobanie.
