Kyoto Anomaly

With spooky month right around the corner and myself sick with a cold, I decided to pick up a short and easy little horror game to prepare. A pretty decent little anomaly game, though I'd say it's rather light on the horror and more on the bizarre side. While it doesn't really add anything new or special to the genre, it was still enjoyable enough to play through. I'd definitely say it's one of the easier anomaly titles with most differences being quite obvious but a few can definitely catch you off guard in their subtlety. You can also pet the cat which is always a win.

[h1] Genre [/h1] Ein First Person Anomaly Horror Adventure [h1] Story [/h1] Wir spielen eine Frau die gerade auf dem Weg ist einen Tempel zu besuchen und zwar bevor alle Touristen ankommen. Problem ist das wir irgendwie kein Stück vorwärts kommen [h1] Gameplay [/h1] Es spielt sich genau wie andere Anomalien Such Horror Spiele. Wir laufen durch ein kleines Gebiet und müssen auf Veränderungen in der Umgebung achten. Finden wir nichts gehen wir zum Rechten Ausgang, finden wir eine Anomaly gehen wir zum Linken Ausgang. Man kennt es ja. Ich fand die Anomalien hier sehr gut gelungen und es gibt sogar verschiedene Endings je nachdem ob man was bestimmtes tut, was ich sehr nett gemacht finde. Die Atmosphäre ist gut gelungen und es gibt sogar Voice Acting. Wenn man mit Englischem Voice Acting spielt, gibt es einen Männlichen Voice Actor und wenn man auf Japanisch spielt eine Weibliche was ich auch sehr nett gemacht finde, so als ob man 2 verschiedene Charaktere spielen kann [h1] Pro/Contra [/h1] + Günstig + Gute Atmosphäre + Gute Anomalien + Verschiedene Endings + Achievements + Je nach Sprache des Voice Actings ändert sich der Charakter (Englisch = Männlich, Japanisch = Weiblich) + Voice Acting ist Ordentlich [h1] Fazit [/h1] Meiner Meinung nach neben Exit 8 definitiv das bisher Beste Anomaly Horror Spiel was ich gespielt habe. Hier hat mir einfach alles sehr gut gefallen. Die Anomalien sind gut gemacht & die Idee das der Charakter entweder Männlich oder Weiblich ist, je nach Auswahl der Sprachausgabe finde ich eine nette Umsetzung. 8번 출구류의 게임으로 여행중 루프로 들어가 버린 형님의 이야기입니다. 루프를 탈출하기위해 긍정적으로 생각하며 매순간 최선을 다하는 형님의 모습을 보며 나도 저렇게 최선을 다해야 겠다는 다짐을 하게 되었습니다. 그렇지만 게임적으로는 이상현상들이 너무나 임팩트가 적고 재미있는 구간이 적어서 아쉬웠는데 이건 이 게임만의 문제가 아니라 요즘 나오는 모든 8번출구류의 게임들의 공통적인 문제가 아닌가 생각이 됩니다. 그래도 가격도 착하고 플탐도 착하고 도전과제도 착하고 한국어도 착해서 좋았습니다. 킬링타임용 게임이라고 말씀드릴수 있겠습니다. 7/10 The game plays very well, very few invisible walls, and you don't get stuck on random objects. I like the look of the game. I was able to complete it first try within 17 minutes. 2.5 hours to earn all achievements. The anomalies are very simple and with a couple of interesting ones. There are roughly 36 anomalies, with 4 jump scare/deadly anomaly. The anomalies don't get repetitive so they do prioritize unseen ones. They also give you a clue if you miss a anomaly for next time. A pet-able cat is also a bonus.

Fun anomaly game, this game actually has the feature of giving you hints when you miss an anomaly. You can turn these hints off in options if you really want, but I still find it a nice touch. There is voice acting, multiple endings, and all the achievements are doable. 100% the game in 2.8 hours. Short but amazing game, worth the price.

Kyoto Anomaly is a pleasant anomaly hunting game without jumpscares. It took me about 2 hours to achieve all steam achievements, it runs well on my potato PC and well...the cost of it is less than a good cup of coffee. Video: https://youtu.be/HHHe09phDgA

霓虹街8号，游戏质量一般般

This game is fun. My playtime shows lower due to offline play on steamdeck. I managed to get my non-gaming friends to play by telling them it is as simple as walking and paying attention. They beat it before I did. Really fun entry and I recommend it to everyone!

A good one of these. Pettable cat was a big bonus.
