Fujii - A Magical Gardening Adventure

Description from my young daughter: "It is so amazing. When I completed the adventure, I was so happy to return home and see my little friend again."

Seems to be completely broken on Quest 2 devices using Virtual Desktop. a bit sad since i thought the game looked like quite a nice little adventure.

Great little game that is a joy to play through, just so visually pleasing! Absolutely fun to play through, and just exist in the Fujii world. As great and amazing as it is, I did go through it in around an hour, but I'm perfectly happy with that. It fits for this game extremely well. Thoroughly enjoy and highly recommend!

Really nice game. Took around 1h30 to finish it. It's a nice relaxing and contemplating experience. The price is a little high though, got it in a bundle, you should take it if it is under 5$. The third part of the game feel a little rushed, it's very short, with less content and you can't replay it which is strange.

[i]I played this in two sessions, the second time starting the game from Oculus Dash. Apparently the game can be launched without Steam, so about 45-60 minutes weren't counted in my visible playtime.[/i] Fujii provides a masterclass in how to implement motion controllers in a virtual reality experience. Aside from ergonomics like stretchy arms and remote grabbing, the level of interactivity with objects in the world is off the charts. Fantastical flowers can be caressed with the hands, each petal moving in a realistic way. It's great to poke and prod things in these surreal natural environments. Restoration is a great theme for a chill game and can give a sense of satisfying progression, along with a feeling that my actions are meaningful and are having positive effects. An area where I think this game goofed up is also related to progress. Seeds can be planted in pots at the nexus/home garden and they take time to grow. But instead of the maturation and flowering times being measured in seconds, it's minutes. Lots of minutes. I believe the garden plants' growth will continue while out in the levels. But it's still a long time and once the levels have been completed, there's not much to do except wait. Some kind of fertilizer to make the plants grow faster would have been good, or just reduced growth times. The game is very short, but it's very well polished and oozing with lovely details and creative visuals. I highly recommend this for every VR gamer's stable of relaxing games and experiences. (You all do have one, right?)

6/10 1.5~2 hrs. game play, 3 places to visit to gather seeds, buying all the seeds then planting um. then abrupt end, confused. Works well with Quest 3 with Virtual Desktop Streamer. only, wait for sale.
