LUNAR: Silver Star Story introduces Alex, an aspiring Dragonmaster who bands together with his friends to combat the perilous emergence of the Magic Emperor and stop him from taking over the world.
LUNAR 2: Eternal Blue picks up a thousand years later, and follows Hiro and his friends as they set out in search of the Goddess Althena alongside an enigmatic girl named Lucia. On this grand quest, fend off enemies like Borgan and White Knight Leo, who hunt down the group to eradicate what they deem to be the "Destroyer of Lunar."

Максимально ламповая JRPG)
Lunar 1 Growing up I never had access to more than the LSSC demo and that itself captivated me for years. The remaster finally gave me the ability to play through without emulation. Great visuals and cutscenes, for me the worst bit was the combat. Lunar 2 I'll eventually get to Lunar 2.
I honestly would only recommend this to those who played those games 20 years or so ago to relive some childhood memories. Those were great games for their time. They didn't age particularly well. Characters are endearing but generally not that deep, story is okay but is simple and straightforward, combat is dull and repetitive (thanks for the speed up button, it's a treasure), visuals and audio are pleasant, but not breathtaking. I did enjoy being able to replay those games on steam, so I absolutely got what I paid for. But I wouldn't recommend it to people, who are not already fond of old JRPGs.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

One of the most beautifully written games of all time. After slogging through the boringness that is Dragon Quest 7, this was such a breath of fresh air. Reminded me of why I fell in love with JRPG's in the first place. The music, characters, writing, especially the NPCs', everything from Nall's attitude, Alex & Luna's beautiful friendship, Kyle's albeit lazy, drunkenness and lack of self-awareness and control as well as Jessica's "don't fk with me!" attitude. Mia's sweet and charming positive outlook, the crazy anime cutscenes. But mostly Nall's attitude. Don't forget to get everything that you need before entering the
Grindery
as everything after will lock you out of backtracking! There is a ring before you enter that cuts your MP down to 50% that helps very much! And make multiple saves as well as separate folders on your Pc! The final dungeon is brutal! Now as for anything else, the game has a launcher that makes you choose from 1 & 2 Remastered or Classic as well as Language before you launch the actual game, this should've been in the settings. For the price of $50, but lower on discounts. This should have been more, but the QOL additions are good, more mods would be great. But still a beautiful game nonetheless, up there with Persona 5 Royal, Kingdom Hearts 1 & Chrono Trigger for me.
