A modern day version of Jezzball which was a game I loved as a kid! The story mode puts you in 36 different "fixed" scenarios, which become increasingly difficult. Once you're through with that, there's arcade mode which is a classic score attack mode with a theoretic infinite replay value. You also earn gold in arcade mode which is then used to permanently enhance your ship, so you'll get more powerful the more you play.

Bad, just bad...
Bad
Garbage!
Art is a bit crappy but the game is nice and challenging if you like the genre. Although it could be better if it had a richer soundtrack It's worth the price.
Tags: Twitch & Arcade Additional Tags: Delete Local Content & Remove from Library TLDR: Lightfish avoids the gimmicky double bladed lightsaber mechanic while providing Xbox360 pad support making it superior. Variant of the "Qix" concept of screen splitting gameplay No Xbox360 pad support and no real PC resolution options. Game still fullscreened correctly on my display and the game itself looked quite acceptable for what it was. Core gameplay is solid. Point and click gameplay was well designed with the use of a two-directional laser that you can rotate. A hundred level to go around and some variety in enemy behavior creates a moderate challenge. I personally prefer Lightfish over this but I can see that it is different enough to warrant being kept around and maybe even played once in a blue moon. The sci fi based theme was introduced well enough but the level select screen showing planets is confusing and requires everything to be moused over to make any sense of the level selection which is unfortunate. https://store.steampowered.com/app/116120/Lightfish/
Great game. Basically a harder version of the classic JezzBall. If you loved JezzBall, Buy this game.
