- Uses a lot of CPU. - As someone mentioned, the cursor can disappear, making it difficult to close the open window unless it reappears. - The cursor also changes its position on the screen after you click a button, which is annoying. - No tutorial on how to interact with anything — you just have to click. Even collecting wood requires clicking, which is not intuitive. - It should keep chopping as long as the mouse button is pressed.

Update: The issue with the log types was fixed, but as I tried to play, I found and posted about many other bugs that should be obvious in any attempt to play this game. I feel like I was the first person to ever attempt to play this game. When patches starting adding more bugs, I gave up and just had to refund this. Original review below: Currently, this game is unplayable .I REFUSE to believe any positive reviews are real. Don't believe me? Buy the game and try it yourself. I'll avoid the tiny nitpick bugs like walking backwards into walls walks through them, instead, the following. The prices for each listed upgrade do not represent what items actually cost. I suspect they represent what the upgrade you already bought had costed? Every tree looks the same. Every Log looks the same. If you pick up a different type of log, it DELETES all the previous logs in your inventory. So... good luck I guess! This alone is game breaking, and needs to just be fixed immediately it's straight up embarassing.

no volume settings. instead of escape closing in game menus, it opens the limited settings menu and breaks the cursor visibility so you can't close the in game menus.

Terrible game that runs like dog water and the dev is the worst kind of person. Instead of being grateful when large streamers give a fair chance to his game, he sends paid shills to write fake comments on their streams.. Bottom of the barrel behavior. Avoid this dev at all cost.

So I've played for about 3 hours so, I've pretty much completed it. I will warn you though.. [b]DO NOT PAY ATTENTION TO THE SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS[/b] They are wrong, I have a 4080 Super, once you get halfway through the Birch trees, you'll be getting [b]11 FPS[/b] if you have the same card, there's ZERO optimisation, and the game uses a ton of CPU. If you have a lower system spec to mine (profile), you will not get on well with this game, it needs serious reworking of everything. Now.. If you still want to give it a go, then go for it, it has a low price for it's low quality. Best start by getting your stamina maxed as soon as possible, you'll need to focus on the stamina mainly, with some inventory every now & then, you can upgrade your strength & axe also, which will help get more resources. I assume it's a Developer that's learning how to make games, it's not terrible, but Dev focus should be on improving the FPS, lowering the CPU, and then AFTER that, adding more things to do.. slowly.

Well I saw this game very cheap and it had a 10% discount so thought what is there not to loos. To be fair there is a fair few negative reviews and I can see why. It is not optimised at all/. My laptop fans were on full blow which I would not expect for a game like this. I have a ailen ware area 51 laptop with RTX 5080, Ultra Core 9 and 32gb of ram. this is a beast of a laptop and should be seeing the lag I seen. About the game play it self it reminds me of the dig a hole type game collect resources power up better axe etc. its addictive. though harsh at the same time. The day night cycle needs work, way too harsh. there needs to be a warning at least. the day night cycle logo does not really make sense. The hoover sword what is that all about to use it you must keep you finger on the letter H while using the other keys to move. I think a better idea would be a teleport or fast travel. The developer has put in walls with each tree type but you end up using most of your stamina getting back and forth. I think that to help with the frame rate. The stamina is depletes way too quickly you end up buying 30 - 40 restores as you rank up. they go way too quickly and becomes a watching the deplete icon Overall at this stage it needs alot of work, Great Idea, Not needing a refund. I want to support the developer but its not worth recommencing at this stage.

Chop trees to get better at chopping trees. It's a chill experience.

Much better after the patch! A few fun things I discovered: - You can use the right click ability before the visual unlock is shown. I think it was at the 750g stage. - if you use the flying sword, you can go explore outside the walls, and up to the mountains, and even get on top of the dungeon at the end. - The flying sword can cause trees to not spawn in. I rushed to the third zone and there were no trees. when i came back after resting they all spawned in. Things that still could use a little work: - There are still big lag spikes the further you get from your house. - using the right click action to clear lots of trees can completely freeze your game, a forced item deletion after X are spawned could fix it, that would also stop the player from getting trapped in place under all the logs. - Stamina does not keep up with inventory until stam potions are used. not sure if its totally intentional, but a tip to use stam potions could help people who don't realize it, and are greatly slowed progress wise because of it. - The boss fight still ends in 2 hits at max upgrade. Overall its a good little game. Well done.
