About
You’re not a hero. You’re just a lucky bastard. But luck is a fickle thing.
A ruthless adult visual novel where success demands sacrifice — love, loyalty, or worse.
An adult visual novel soaked in dirty morality and sexual freedom. The protagonist is a man in his 40s — once a decent businessman, now consumed by greed and the hunger for power. At the start, he’s a big child with a “take what you can” philosophy. Women are just a source of pleasure. He’s married, but never faithful. He manipulates, dominates, and sacrifices others for a deal that could bring obscene wealth.
But everything changes when he loses his anchor — his assistant Julia. The woman who was his mirror and moral compass is gone. Now, he must crawl through a web of sex, lies, betrayal, and power — with no guide, and no safety net.
The player decides who he becomes:
A man destroyed by his own sins, seeking redemption
A seducer of a powerful investor’s wife
A fool who realizes the cost of loyalty too late
A broken soul saved by someone he once despised
Or a man who dies without ever changing
Features:
A branching storyline with multiple endings
Explicit 18+ scenes without censorship
Deep characters who shape the story
Over 4 hours of gameplay
6,000+ renders and 350 animations

First off, you can tell that this was written by someone not familiar with English at all. And whoever they hired to translate doesn't understand English either. It's awful. They speak everywhere and nowhere. It's all over the place, and makes no sense. Next, graphics... One second the girls look kind of pretty, but the next they're horse face ugly. The protagonist is a piece of ♥♥♥♥. No way he'd be getting so much action. Looks like Lyle Lovett screwed Frankenstein's monster, and Then beat their kid with an ugly stick. Waste of money, and HD space. My suggestion.. Try to find a few gameplay videos of this thing. Because I promise, you won't like it either.
Recommended: The writing is wanting, but damn the women look natural and many scenes. Pro: - Lots of scenes and choices - Lots of women to be with - Lots of scenarios to navigate - Story is ok but the writing is kinda iffy Con - Too many still images between animations - Only one music the entire game
no voice sound, slow frame rate, good story, and no gallery. hmm
Game is alright specially if you are into dominion route, if you can get it for half of the price is much better. 7/10
Lucky Bastard is an adult-themed visual novel developed and published by LLP Clerik Studio, blending erotic storytelling with a narrative about business, power, and the unpredictability of fate. It tells the story of a man whose life takes a dramatic turn when he suddenly gains exclusive rights to supply goods to a lucrative and restricted international market. What follows is a descent into the morally gray world of ambition, greed, and temptation, where luck becomes both a blessing and a curse. The protagonist’s journey is not one of heroism or redemption but of survival in a system that rewards cunning and ruthlessness. The title itself is a perfect encapsulation of the game’s core idea: the fine line between fortune and folly, between opportunity and downfall. The writing in Lucky Bastard focuses heavily on themes of ambition and corruption, exploring how the pursuit of success can distort human relationships. As the player guides the protagonist through business negotiations, personal encounters, and erotic entanglements, every decision feels weighted with moral consequence. The story is driven by character interaction rather than external action, with choices shaping not just the narrative outcome but the tone of each relationship. What makes the story intriguing is its sense of irony—your character may seem to be in control, yet luck governs much of his rise and fall. Even in moments of triumph, there’s an underlying sense that everything could unravel in an instant. The dialogue captures the manipulative charm of the protagonist and the tension of the people drawn into his orbit, from potential investors to romantic interests, each motivated by their own ambitions and vulnerabilities. Visually, the game is striking for its genre. The character art is polished and expressive, and the backgrounds evoke a world that feels both luxurious and cold—a space where wealth and desire coexist uneasily. The CG scenes, particularly the adult ones, are detailed and well-rendered, showcasing a level of visual refinement that elevates the experience beyond typical low-budget erotic novels. The user interface is sleek and intuitive, supporting multiple languages and offering smooth transitions between scenes. The music complements the tone effectively, alternating between ambient, seductive melodies during intimate moments and tense, understated tracks during business negotiations or moments of betrayal. Together, these elements create a cohesive atmosphere that captures the allure and danger of the world the game depicts. Mechanically, Lucky Bastard follows the familiar format of visual novels, combining dialogue choices, branching storylines, and multiple endings. Players navigate through a mixture of business decisions and personal interactions that gradually reveal the protagonist’s true nature and the extent of his ambition. While the branching narrative offers some replay value, most of the major story beats converge, leaving limited room for dramatically different outcomes. The player’s decisions often influence how relationships develop rather than fundamentally altering the direction of the plot. This structure works well for players who enjoy character-driven storytelling but may leave others wishing for more significant divergence between playthroughs. The pacing is generally strong in the first half, but the middle chapters occasionally linger too long on repetitive routines or scenes that feel more like filler than progression. Where Lucky Bastard distinguishes itself is in its attempt to balance erotic content with psychological drama. Unlike many adult visual novels that treat intimacy as mere fan service, this game uses its sexual encounters as a form of storytelling. Each scene reveals something about the characters’ power dynamics, desires, and vulnerabilities. The explicit content feels integrated into the narrative rather than gratuitous, highlighting the interplay between dominance, submission, and manipulation. At its best, the writing explores how lust and greed intertwine—how physical satisfaction becomes a metaphor for control. However, the game’s heavy reliance on adult content may alienate some players who prefer more narrative complexity over erotic focus. Those uncomfortable with explicit themes or moral ambiguity may find the tone unsettling, as it often challenges traditional notions of right and wrong rather than reinforcing them. Despite its ambition, Lucky Bastard is not without flaws. The game’s relatively short length—averaging only a few hours per playthrough—limits how deeply it can explore its themes. Some character arcs feel underdeveloped, and a few scenes could have benefited from stronger emotional buildup. There are moments when the story’s pacing stalls, with repeated interactions that don’t meaningfully advance the plot. The illusion of choice, while initially engaging, becomes more apparent on subsequent playthroughs when players realize that certain decisions have only minor narrative consequences. Nonetheless, these issues do not completely diminish the game’s impact. Its tone, presentation, and thematic coherence give it an identity distinct from the countless adult titles that rely solely on shock value or superficial seduction. In the end, Lucky Bastard succeeds as a mature, morally ambiguous visual novel that merges sensuality with social commentary. It’s a game that understands the allure of power and the precariousness of success, painting a portrait of a man who thrives not because of his virtue but because of his fortune and his willingness to exploit it. The mix of erotic storytelling, psychological tension, and business intrigue makes it a unique experience that stands out within its niche. While it may not offer the branching complexity or narrative depth of larger visual novels, its atmosphere and tone linger long after the story concludes. For players drawn to adult narratives that explore the darker sides of ambition and desire, Lucky Bastard delivers a polished and provocative experience that fully embraces the chaos of its title. Rating: 7/10
I pretty much only finished this game because I ran over the refund time limit. The story is fine enough, I suppose, but the MC isn't very likeable and the translation needs work. It's pretty convoluted how you work conversations to get different outcomes, but if you have time and patients I guess you could get everything in time. Sometimes the models were good, but mostly they're really plasticky and the animations can be pretty awkward. I don't think I could honestly recommend this one unless it has a massive discount.
