This game is really fun and unique! The game looks easy at the start but becomes very challanging. you can burn hours on it without noticing! I really recommend it 10/10!
it's a fun game, I like the color-switching mechanic and the campaign, the randomly generated level can use more variety. Luciform brings a unique simple but amazing design to the table, features a small cute platformer that will make you sweat, as simple as intense, very well structured and you sense the heartfelt dedication and devotion of the creator into the content creation and the gameplay, the campaign is varied and challenging, and this game is updating and developing all the time, and if you ask me the future is bright!! Will definitely recommend , worth every penny! :)
Luciform is a unique take on the precision platformer. You control a white rabbit navigating a series of short levels of ever increasing difficulty. The main draw of the game is the ability to change your rabbit's colour with the press of a button. This becomes central to the mechanics of the game. You start each level white and can change colour from green, to red and to blue. The catch is that you can only touch platforms of the same colour. The difficulty ramps up quickly, with super fast reflexes required to get to the end of a level. Prepare to die - a lot. But with perseverance, all is possible, and you'll be rather proud of yourself. I'd actually liken Luciform to a rhythm game, as you need to press the buttons on the controller (or keyboard) like a musical instrument to succeed! All in all, Luciform is a splendid addition to the precision platforming genre. If you are a fan of Super Meat Boy, The End is Nigh or Celeste, you'll love this kaleidoscopic adventure, 8/10
Simple, yet engaging. I dont know how much staying power it has for replay yet, but it is worth a once over for sure. Recommend it to any one who likes puzzle and platformer games.

Luci is a cute oval face with two big eyes and two big ears and reminds me slightly of a rabbit. She must have legs as one of her favourite pastimes is running, but they are concealed within her face, her main body part. Not only she can run for hours on end, but she can also make fabulous jumps and has the ability to swap between three different colours. She is some sort of rabbit/chameleon but together in a little cute oval face with big ears. Now, some of her fellow creatures have been taken prisoners by a nasty, giant gorilla with massive red eyes. The jungle is full of surprises and difficult to go through, but she must go through it and rescue her little oval-shaped buddies! So, get ready for Luciform. Luciform is a precision platformer game developed and self-published by Chaos Minds on the 3rd of February 2021 on Steam. The game consists of a short and well-implemented tutorial, a campaign mode with 50 levels and an endless mode. I strongly recommend playing the tutorial first before launching into the campaign or an endless mode game. Originally, the game had only one level of difficulty, which was how it was intended to be played. A week and a bit after the game was released, the developers introduced a lower level of difficulty to help struggling gamers in their endeavour to get Luci moving from one level to another. The difference between the two levels of difficulty is that in the easier level, Luci can stop on platforms, while in the hardest difficulty, she will keep running all the time. I really enjoy playing this type of game even if I am not that good with them. In this case, after 3 hours plus of gameplay I have only managed to clear 18 levels and have only played the game the way it was originally intended. My god, this game is intense! Each stage is actually quite short but very difficult to clear! So here is Luci coming from the left side of your screen through some sort of tunnel on a white platform; she will be white at this stage. The next platform she will have to land on is either red, blue or green, and you'll have to make sure that she is the same colour as the platform she is going to land on. If the platform is green and Luci is red, she'll fall right through that platform and die. Now don't forget, she will keep running on the platform, and if you don't instruct her to move to the other side at the end of the platform, she'll drop and die. It is not too difficult when the platforms are spaced appropriately between each other, even if they are of different colours, but it will become quickly challenging when you have platforms of different lengths! And then you have vertical platforms to deal with! Oh yes, the levels are fairly short, but now the end of the stage is on an elevated point! Hold on, there are obstacles to avoid as well. So far, I’ve only seen the normal spiky vines which, if Luci touches them, no matter what colour she takes on, she'll die. I believe that in a not-too-distant future, I will have to face the spiky vines of varying colours along with other obstacles; I truly can't wait! Where is my Mummy? It is simply a hardcore precision platformer! I am just amazed how difficult this game is, and how addictive it is too. Even after restarting a level for the 20th time, feeling so frustrated because I kept stuffing it up run after run, I wouldn't give up! The trick is to be in the zone, calm as you can be and know your next jump and next colour that Luci will need to be all way through to finish the level. If you see the end of the stage and start to feel excited because you are so close to beating it, you'll most likely make a mistake, Luci will die, and the level will start again! But when you beat a level, a sense of euphoria will fill your body, and you'll find yourself jumping out of your chair, punching the air screaming YES! It will be a short and exciting feeling as the next level will already have started, and no doubt Luci will already be recording her first death on the new level. The graphics are good, and the levels are well-designed. In terms of controls, you can play with your keyboard or a gamepad. Personally, I used a wireless Xbox gamepad, and I had no issues whatsoever. Luciform is a good platformer game without a doubt, but expect plenty of frustration and even a bit of rage at some point. The simple solution is let it go for a while, and come back to it when you settle down! Positives: ~~~~~~~ + Good graphics + A good, short tutorial + 50 levels in a campaign and endless mode + Simple to play but hard to master + Full control support, Steam Cloud and Steam leader board Negatives: ~~~~~~~~ - No trading cards as yet - Frustrating at times Luciform: A unique and challenging precision platformer where your coordination and reflexes will be tested from the start! 8/10 Key provided by the developer/publisher for review purposes. This is a nice game that you can play on the side from your other games. It is a real challenge at every level and can really test your thinking. Great price for a fun, chill and competitive game - leaderboards to compete against friends or all other players. Can you make it to the highest level?... Let's see :)
I'm not into platformer games but I still had fun playing Luciform. I want to support indie devs and I hope that this game gets a fair chance after the DMCA takedown. Impressive for a solo developer. My favorite parts were the puzzles (like having to switch colors rapidly to overcome an impossible barrier), the background scenery, and the music. Cheers to Chaos Minds, I hope that you keep creating.

Voto Personale 70/100
I am giving this game a Positive pass as it does show potential. Luciform does have a large mobile feel/aesthetic. I played this game with a wireless Xbox One controller. The tutorial had missing chunks of information, the most it recognized of the controller is the RB and LB buttons, but did not translate what buttons change your character's color. I was able to make it to level 9 without getting stuck and unable to understand how to move further. I am choking that up against myself and not the game. Level select, gets stuck if you navigate away from levels you have unlocked. Meaning you would have to use your keyboard and mouse to navigate back so you can use your controller again. Doesn’t seem Steam Big Picture friendly with some of the controls and UI. My other thought is while it's nice to slam through levels that the character starts moving right away... would be nice to have the character move when you press right. Like right away on spawn, it just sits there until you first move, after moving you keep moving until level end or death/reset.
