Love Story: The Beach Cottage

Decent hidden-object game. Fun HO scenes, intriguing minigames, and a decent plot. The protagonist is a woman whose father passes away, asking her to check out their beach house as one last favor to him, before she sells it. Years earlier, a tragedy had happened out on the waves, which she has been avoiding facing fully. The loss of her first love. Once there, though, she begins to sense that things may not be so… finished. Get on discount or in the bundle, but still a decent read.

This is a Hidden Object Adventure game. It is 1 of 3 of the Love Story series. Another intriguing and touching story. I recommend. .hint button - Does not always help by telling you where to go or specifically what to do when you're stuck. .inventory - easy to use .A really neat feature is when you need to find an item (i.e. a screwdriver), an icon appears in inventory showing an image of a screwdriver. You don't need to write it down. .Beautiful artwork, music, & story .The items were more clearly drawn that in the 1st game, but I still had to use a magnifying glass to find what I missed when I got stuck. I'm talking about items you need to find while walking around, not the HOS.

There is absolutely NOTHING I disliked about this game. I discovered this game in my early twenties and was hooked since then!

This is the second in the Love Story series. While each are stand alone stories, they all have a common theme: getting a second chance with a first love. I enjoyed the first game's story more than this second one but liked the game play more in this second one. I found it slightly more challenging than the first as things were easier to miss; I was definitely stumped a few times during the first run of the game. There is also a lot more work (i.e., clicking) in these games - no fast travel or maps. I played through it twice and will likely play these games again since they are relatively short and put a smile on my face.

Es una historia bonita y entretenida para corazones románticos. Alguno lo de los juegos resulta un desafío.

I like these older HOGs. It's a simple story, but good.

It is very short (around 2 hours) and has a fixed resolution of 1024x768 (so if you use full HD or greater, you either play in a small window or watch it stretched and pixelated). Gameplay wise it is great though; it is challenging (both the puzzles and the HOGs) and has a nice story. Overall it deserves to be checked out.

小时候玩过的游戏，很简单的故事，很简单的玩法，。我的感情启蒙。故事还蛮感人的。后半部分的情感氛围渲染的很好。就是没中文玩起来稍稍有些费劲~
