Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.86/day in the week to Aug 10 → 3/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 22 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,513 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I still think about this game every day since I finished it...I want a sequel so bad!!!
Lost Records is a one-of-kind narrative game. DONTNOD have created a cast of deep characters, and The impact of choices and actions is weaved much more finely than in previous games like Life is Strange, and dialogue choices are much more complex - for example, dialogue options can appear and disappear over a conversation, and you can interrupt or choose not to speak, creating much more fluid dialogue. The camcorder mechanic is unique and provides a little bit extra gameplay on top of walking simulator in an immersive way. The story is a really slow burn, and it can drag at points - I put the game down for a few months halfway through, and I'm really glad I picked it back up. The focus on the game is on your relationships and experiences across a whimsical summer in 1995 (as opposed to a focused adventure), and that comes with downsides as well as upsides - but it is certainly unique.

Another amazing story from the team at DON'T NOD and absolutely a must own title in my opinion. The animations and voice acting are second to none and the team nailed the style that they were going for. I would like to say thank you to the developers for all of the hard work that went into this.
a force of nature the best visuals, gameplay and consequences in a supernatural story based game that features player choice where the consequences of all your in game actions and decisions impact the past, present and future, to date, like they actually learnt from every one they did previous and got better at it. a cast of characters you will feel genuine love and scorn for (and dylan). and a story i absolutely have to replay with a better computer because i was so bad to autumn and present nora. the gimmick in this game is great, its active gameplay, it makes you a director within the world, and it ties the whole story together. again, they got better with the drawing minigame, and even better here. conversations run at natural paces, you feel the missed opportunities to say something better because you spoke too soon, and it really pays to be an active listener to the characters. the puzzles surprised and delighted me and i essentially never felt like i was being made to play fetch for the narrative to continue. tape 1 was beautiful. tape 2 starts out slow but gets really, Really, REALLY good. the setting doesn't reach the heights because it limits itself to enclosed sets of which there are only about 11? they are bursting with visual and kinetic detail, but lacking in sense of place. you don't really get to learn anything about velvet cove. you can still interrupt ambient dialogue by acting on something, so you lose out on context if you don't drop everything and let every voice line play out. i think this game earns the privilege of being demanding, but it's still UE5 so it doesnt scale down well. finally they forgot to write a 5th good female character in this game, even if you can potentially explain that away as characterisation somehow. i want to go back and find her. soon oh hey double exposure. no i've been playing bloom and rage. you wouldn't know her she goes to a different school where everyone is so much smarter and better looking than you
It may be a slow burn but man does it burn at the ending. I loved this even if it was slower at times and confusing other times, it all comes together at the end. I really hope that we get another that goes into the details more for now its a wonderful and moving game with a bit of mystery and theory to it.
I love Don't Nod but this is just not it. Half of the dialogues feel ai generated and make no sense. The story's god awful too
просто хорошая как по мне история Moim zdaniem to po prostu dobra historia. Just a good story, in my opinion. Simplemente una buena historia, en mi opinión. 私の考えでは、それは単純に良い物語です。 在我看來,這純粹是個好故事。
Although I enjoyed my time with this title for the most part, it just didn't capture me like the Life is Strange series despite being created by the same developers and following a similar format. This game follows a foursome of misfit girl best friends through the summer of 1995 where they bond by experiencing both love and loss but also routinely switches forward to 2022 where the estranged friends (now in their early 40s) must come to terms with the tragic events of that summer which are a secret known only to them. Is their bond strong enough to survive the truth? As usual, your choices matter. However, I would've preferred the supernatural element be toned down near the climax in favor of a more realistic vibe but that's just me. I still really enjoyed it.
It's not that this game is terrible. It has most of the hallmarks of its lineage: solid to exceptional voice acting, beautiful settings that ooze moody nostalgia, and the usual gentle intrigue of getting to know the people around you. But unlike, say, the Life is Strange series, the plot just doesn't hit, for me. The mechanic offered by the game, filming memoirs, loses its charm pretty quick. And 6 hours in, I still don't have any compelling mystery or conflict to hurl me along. Will I keep playing? Sure, I tend to be a finisher. But it doesn't have its claws in me, and I've become a fan of the genre, so I was ready to be hooked.
