Roll your way through random as you search for your sister in a quirky, strange world. This fate-driven adventure has unusual 'fighting' mechanics controlled by cards and the roll of a die.
Story
Your sister Odd is whisked away from Onecroft by the Nanny and the Queen, as Odd rolled a '6' at her coming of age dice ceremony. As Even, track down your sister following a mysterious ghost. Explore 6 towns and meet fully narrated crazy characters in a dark Puppeteer-style world. Full engrossing story and full of adventure.
Gameplay
Running speed is perfect. Most of the environment between towns is a one-way track, but the main town areas allow you to run around and explore. The dice rolling and card drawing is a fantastic and unique way of being able to fight the mechanical enemies. You collect crystal pieces to fill up a bar which allows you to draw cards. You can then roll Dicey for a number which allows you to use those cards under the randomly rolled value. This allows you to wield weapons, place bombs, or use trick/cheat cards which change the stakes in the encounter. A roll of the dice pauses time. Thoroughly enjoyed the play style, as it allowed me to fight without coming too close with enemy encounters (difficult fighting isn't my thing). You rearrange your whole deck depending on how you prefer to fight. My endgame deck consisted of: 3x Game Master 2x Ooma's Embrace 2x Superb Draw 2x Quick Draw 1x Super Elixir 1x Bow of One 1x Rulemaster's Bow 1x Time Trap 1x Shadowman's Touch 1x Crystal Curse This allowed me to be fully shielded and shoot the enemies from a distance. Crystal Curse and Shadowman's touch made my explosive arrows stronger. Once I'd pulled enough quick draw cards I only needed 2 bundles of crystal shards for a full card hand. Having fewer variety of cards meant I pulled my best cards often, and could hit enemies hard and quickly. Achievements can be difficult as they aren't obvious. You may need to use a guide or play multiple times to 100%. They could have added more content for Sixtopia, but I'm sure the point of this town was to aim for the Queen. Overall a wonderful game that I'm listing in favourites. I may not replay until I've forgotten the story a little, but could easily replay trying a different card hand. 14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 26: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Super Story, tolle Charaktere und wahnsinnig viel Spaß - das bietet euch dieses Spiel. Komplette durch-spiel-Empfehlung! Es gibt immer einen Witz, ein Rätsel oder eine tolle Konversation - einfach TOP!
Can't backtrack for collectibles in the SAME LEVEL. Add to this bugs that softlock you like the game straight up saying "this door won't open even if you did everything well, ♥♥♥♥ you". Had this on a sale and still feel like I was robbed
Let's start with the undeniable which is the game looks beautiful, the artists behind this had a wild time and a lot of creativity and it shows in how the world is designed. Is it open world or even linear with many branching paths? Not really, this seems very much a linear game and I am ok with that provided that the gameplay holds up (which it does!) As I played I felt a mashup of Kena: Bridge of Spirits style gameplay (albeit less fluid) and Alice Madness Returns, an older game with a really great art direction and fantastical influences as seen in Lost in Random. I'm finding the game utterly charming especially with the excellent voice acting. Sure some things could be better, I very quickly saw that the map was borderline useless but it is what it is. When I started the game I felt the controls were a little but clunky and in some ways they are but not enough for me to be turned off which is the case for some other games I played before. I like that the hitboxes are quite generous which makes it easier for someone with slower reflexes like me to play. It is worth noting that there are no difficulty options but the game is quite accessible and generous from what I have seen so far. This is a nice little albeit flawed game, I give it 7/10.
---{ Gameplay }---
⭐⭐⭐ 3/10 Higher = Great gameplay aka quite lot of fun.
---{ Audio }---
⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4/10 Higher = Great audio also to make it clear its just the sound design overall, from even any voice acting or just sound effects of stuff etc, but not including any music or atmospheric tracks bellow is the score for the music.
---{ Soundtrack }---
⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4/10 Higher = Great soundtrack this for all kinda of music within the game.
---{ Story }---
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5/10 Higher = Great story
---{ Difficulty }---
7 10 being very easy 5 being not too hard yet not too easy 1 being very hard like darksoul like of hard to beat.
---{ Length of Content Inside this game }---
🔲 What that was tiny. (under 1 hour - 1 hour) 🔲 Short. (2-5 hours) ✅ Decent. (6-15 hours) 🔲 Long. (16-48 hours) 🔲 Super long. (49-280) 🔲 Here's my keys, Philosophy, A freak like me, Just needs infinity.
---{ Bugs and Problems }---
🔲 Smooth just the way everyone likes it. ✅ Minor bugs or problems but, nothing too bad that ruins the game as a whole, so overall still playable. 🔲 Ok now its getting to be quite problematic, find it hard to pretend its not happening, can get annoying. 🔲 Wow getting to the point of un playable with too much problems with it. 🔲 Such a broken mess, it's so un playable.
---{ Price list }---
at the time of this review £24.99 🔲 Worth the set price. 🔲 Small % off would do, aka around 5-30% range. ✅ Medium % off would do, aka around 40-65% range. 🔲 Large % off would do, aka 70% or higher off other wise if you don't you've just wasted your cash on this game.
---{ Detail Notes }---
This game was pretty boring and i can totally see why lot didn't bother finishing, seeing how at the time of this review only having a 19.4% have ever finished the game. Like what! 19.4% ! So while i've been given clown awards for real most postivey reviewed posts from launch to today shows most haven't even finished not all but lot of people haven't. I bet if they did finish it there would of been far less positives reviews made as i will now explain why this isn't that good of a game. The gameplay as rated was like the worst part of this game, it does these battles where you got to collect crystals to charge up the dice to then pick a card to aid you in what ever cards you bought along in your loadout. What as you might imagine gets tiring quick when you have to do the same steps every battle encounter, in fact in the eairly game its very restictive making it even slower to get through the battles almost as its just padding time. At least it got better later on in this regard, as you get to roll higher then 2 so you can finish the fights more faster. There are slightly new battle arenas in the game to fresh up the gameplay going off like a board game where you have to roll the dice to get to the end of the board with the battling robot twist, but overall you still be mainly doing the same gameplay loop there was only one of these board game types in the game where i found it very interesting for a moment a slight hope of this game going to have more interesting game play in store? But as once i found this approaching death wall stops moving closer to you till you roll again i was like, oh great a facade of danger that isn't that of a threat after all. The enemy variety is also dull it is only past the half way point of the game do they even remotely try to mix things up, but overall mostly still fighting the same old robots over and over and what change up they do is very little. There was some enjoyment to be had but very little as it gets repetitive. The story however was the only thing that kept me pushing on to make it to the end, spite the overall game playing being mostly dull. I will admit if it wasn't pulling me into the world and the tales i would've not seen it to the end. As yeah its decent not bad nor is it great but its mostly enjoyable through and through with few laughs along the way too. It really had lot of charm i really felt i was getting sucked into its world building. So at least there was something good within this game. I can total seeing me enjoy this as a kid. But now am far beyond that age and seen many better games and such and so know better, yeah this overall still flopped. I guess if you were to buy it for you're children mainly to keep them content and not bothering you, it be alright. But age 11+ nah recommend to skip. And if you do still, as said it for sure on sale its really not a £24 game.
---{ Verdict Rating ? / 10 }---
3/10
6.7/10 Pros-There is a guy called Many D*cks who stocks you from town to town and hides around dark corners and flashes his Peeenus or I mean Decks at the children in town! -Also of note its Creative and the Art Style is done really well (claymation meets nightmare before Christmas). -The world and characters are all interesting enough that you want to explore and listen to what people have to say. It's a satisfying theme to see 1 town and 2 town etc... -Im going to put the SIDE Quests in positive because they are pretty unobtrusive, they mostly follow pretty naturally from exploring and talking to people and don't feel like big diversions from the main quest that is supposed to be urgent. Beyond that most of them are mildly entertaining or satisfying and only 2 or 3 that make you say "That was some worthless gameplay/content." -The Combat mechanics of DD dice rolling and deck building and real-time dodging and shoot is pretty fun and engaging and will probably be something new for most people. Negatives -Combate...I'm putting it here as well because after 3 town it started to get pretty stale. The most expensive cards are 3s and you dont get much for new cool cards after you get the 3pt cards and can roll 3s after 3 town. The Enemy variety is prett weak, the board games are really weak AND its has a stupid system where if you kill all enemies that are currently spawned then roll your dice the game is soft LOCKED, because you must interact with something to resume the fight after choosing your cards...wtf was the thinking there idk. Anyways you can pretty much no hit the hardest battles after 3 town whilst half asleep...buuut they fights still take 5-10 minutes and god forbid you do dies (a few fights will get you) the grinding style of the fights means "aw fk I just wasted 5min" rather than "ok I see my mistake let me do this again but better." -Basically its a nice game, but if it ended after 3 or 4 town it wouldn't change what I got out of the game.
dark themed fantasy world! good story line
Классная игра. Очень много файтинга, ну прям чувствуешь, что каждая локация - это файтинг. Больше бы загадок, действий.
Man könnte meinen, es sei ganz schön RANDOM
Достойная игра, интересный сюжет, необычная боевка-которая мне очень зашла, бросать рандомно кубик, графика хорошая, визуал как Тим Бертон- обожаю Поиграйте, не пожалеете
