Its not enough this game prioritizes Nvidia its not enough that its "challenge missions" offer nothing, its not enough that enemies get stuck in the ground and hard lock the game. No, that wasnt enough seemingly. In EVERY LOADSCREEN THE RANGER IS WEARING RED, IN EVERY TRAILER THE RANGER IS WEARING RED, SOMEONE STRAIGHT UP CHANGED EVERY PIECE OF HIS ARMOR BEFORE LAUNCH BECAUSE THEY WERE PETTY AND HONESTLY IT RUINS THE GAME EVERYTIME I THINK ABOUT IT IM FURIOUS DO NOT BUY THIS GAME
Best Lord of the Rings game of all time. It's a shame it's no longer available for purchase

Best Co-Op LOTR out there.
For a 2011 game, War in the North is solid enough. Although, that same year RPG fans also got The Witcher 2, Dragon Age 2, Dark Souls and Skyrim, so I can see why War in the North is somewhat obscure even to people who enjoy (or at least say they do) Tolkien Mythology. It is a shame that this game has been removed from the store: at least for me, it is MUCH better than those movie tie-in games for the PS2, and also quite better than that repetitive and overrated Shadow of Mordor game. War in the North shines when you play it coop with some friends, but even though I bought this one back in the day it was a herculean task to arrange some extra copies so I could play it with my friends. It is totally not worth what key resellers are charging for it, but if you have access to two or three copies of it through Steam family or whatnot, give it a try!
Im leichten Modus kann ich es immer wieder spielen. Nur leider ist der Normale Schwierigkeitsgrad nicht zu schaffen. Nach dem ersten Durchspielen passen die Kommentare der Charaktere nicht mehr zum geschehen.
is a good game
There are some issues with this game, however, if you own it I suggest at least one playthrough. First, level cap is 40. With attributes being capped at 3 a level, that can be frustrating. Though 40 skill points being assigned to trees is a decent cap, like the borderlands games. Second, you cannot get every secret without playing with at least one other human. This is frustrating as the game has been delisted. But secrets are not mandatory, so don't worry too much. The only real issue with the game other than the de-listing is that there's a durability feature, but no storage feature. Especially if you like making potions, this is annoying. NOTE: if you are playing solo, giving an item to your party member does not make them equip it, it just trashes the item. All items you get are saved on your one account. It's a bit of a grind at times, and honestly, it's a game i'd recommend using cheat engine or we mod or whatever on, simply because you don't get enough attribute points. (2 more a level would be better.) Unfortunately, I don't know how to mod. However! The biggest plus side: SO MUCH LORE. You get to fight with GIANT EAGLES, Elrond's sons, and more. You can try to take the ring from frodo! (Which is hilarious). There are a lot of lore easter eggs and references that are incredibly fun. I'm hoping to face off against a fell beast because those are awesome. Good luck, and have fun!
Le jeu est chouette en coop et propose de vivre une aventure ou on est quelques jours après l'aventure principale. C'est d'ailleurs son plus gros défaut je trouve, sinon il est sympa.
