Great Game
I’ve sunk 300 hours into Lord of Dwarves, and it’s incredibly addictive. A voxel-based builder with strong Dwarf Fortress vibes, the game offers endless fun in its sandbox world. The graphics are basic, think hand-drawn-in-paint feeling and simple voxel art, but the gameplay is solid! The campaign serves as both a tutorial and a series of sandbox missions, and I’ve spent at least 50 hours just getting lost in my own plans. Some of the challenge mode maps are great fun too! The developer is no longer working on the game, though, and technical issues can make it hard for some to get it running. I wish they would return to patch it and get it into working order for everyone, because it's quite a forgotten gem. Despite the technical issues and no additional updates in sight, I strongly recommend it to fans of sandbox games. It’s a charming, addictive experience if you can get it to run.

A fun colony sim with dwarves.
Dwarf fortress like game. Plenty of fun.
It's a fun colony sim, and you can dig.
Need a maybe hand for recommending - flat have moving back and forth. I like the game - got it on sale at some point. I would not pay $20 for it. For $10ish maybe, for $6 or less yes please. It is good for what it is. I am sure that others will complain that it does not have enough content, the graphics are this that or the other thing, blah blah blah. Like I said for $6 I would have not issues giving this one a thumbs up, at $20 it is a thumbs down. This is more like a well done student project from game design school.
Once I got used to the UI it became a pretty cool game.
Games a little rough around the edges. But still having a blast with it. RimWorld meets Minecraft = Fun times.
Wer hier also inhaltlich was erfahren will, kann dort vorbeischauen.
Very nice Gnomoria/Towns/DF-like gem with a campaign that offers quite different scenarios. I have not finished the campaign yet and enjoy it very much. Make your live easy and build erverything you have learned in former missions even though it is not mentioned in your current mission, e.g beds, renewable resource production and everything you have enough resources for. It will help for your mission. It also has a sandbox mode but I have not played it yet. The game is stable and has a functional UI. In my case, playing in 4K is not so nice because the UI does not scale enough. Playing on 2.5K and full screen mode works fine but there's a bug leading to stay in windowed mode after ALT-Tab. You have to turn fullscreen on and off everytime after ALT-tabbing to solve that.
